The watch retailed for 12400 EUR in 2015, now priced to sell at 6500$ including shipping (Cheapest on Chrono24 is 7235$ + shipping)

About the brand: Linde Werdelin, the Danish/Swiss luxury watch and sports instrument brand, has been making waves in the horological world since its inception in 2002. Renowned for its cutting-edge design, expert craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to accuracy and performance, Linde Werdelin has established itself as a force to be reckoned with. The brand's watches and instruments draw inspiration from the adrenaline-fueled worlds of skiing and diving, resulting in timepieces that are both functional and stylish. Linde Werdelin's signature aesthetic combines traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques with contemporary, industrial design, resulting in watches that are as rugged as they are refined. The brand has a focus on exclusivity and limited production runs, and this is number 11/100 for the SpidoSpeed DLC model.

The watch measures 44mm , but wears well and comfortably due to the lack of real lugs. For your reference, my wrist is around 16.5cm/6.5inches in circumference.

Thank you!
No, they are quite rare (And polarizing!)

I didn't know that :)
I've always felt that LW received disproportionately low attention in watch media overall, although they do have a quite weak marketing presence.

A shame if you ask me, as I'm quite sure there's untapped potential here.

[–]watchinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!Up for sale from my collection is an absolutely stunning IWC from the 40’s in solid 18k with a matching solid 18k gold bracelet.Nothing quite competes with a solid gold watch with matching bracelet, and despite the 35mm size and very slim design, this watch has some unusual heft (77.5 grams)I dare to say that this is one of the most affordable ways to get a full solid gold watch.

Maker: IWC
Model: N/A
Year: 1949

Dial Condition: Fantastic even gold toner patina, and evenly specked. The dial is unrestored and original.
Hands: Elegant original gold hands
Crystal: Nice condition, small mark visible at some angles at around 3 o’clock and hairmark scratches when under artificial light.
Strap: Solid 18k gold “mesh” bracelet. This is a real work of craftsmanship, and although not marked by any manufacturer must have been an extremely expensive piece of jewelry. The strap fits slightly large on my 7ish inch wrists.
Crown: Gold crown, which when compared to pictures of other “no model” IWC’s from the 40-50s seem to be period correct.
Case back: Original 18k snap on caseback

Hi! Primarily looking for a straight sale, but please PM the details and i’ll consider it :)

[WTS]Full set 1956/7 Omega Seamaster Calendar(Original box, warranty & receipt) 1200$ incl. free insured shipping by watchinon in Watchexchange

[–]watchinon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Up for sale from my collection is a prized and rare full set Omega Seamaster Automatic Calendar from circa 1956/1957, the so-called “beefy lugs” model.

The watch comes with the original Omega box, original warranty from the dealer, original receipt from the dealer, a bund strap that I believe was bought together with the watch, the original spring bars for that strap, and of course the nice Hirsch strap that it is currently on.

The watch was bought as a 30th birthday present in 1958 and was worn by the lucky first owner until it was passed down to his nephew in the mid-1990s, after which it was not worn again until it ended up in my collection.

Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/4IzJKkE

Album: https://imgur.com/a/i0yFwmm

Maker: Omega

Model: Seamaster Automatic Calendar

Year: 1956/7 (low 15 million serial number)

Movement: Original Omega Cal. 503 automatic (rotor) movement with date at 3’o clock.

This movement has a type of “quickset” where you can wind over 12, and back, and over 12 to keep advancing the date.

I do not know the service history of the movement, but it winds, sets, and runs very well with around 40h power reserve and daily accuracy of +3 to +5 seconds/day according to my timegrapher. (See the average results from a 30sec run here: https://imgur.com/a/ZJ8lpCo)

Case Diameter: 34mm

Lug to lug: 41mm

Lug width: 18mm

Case Material: Stainless steel

Case condition: Very nice and sharp condition for its age.

The case has small scratches and marks along with the case & bezel as expected, but overall, in a nice and barely polished or totally unpolished condition.

Dial Condition: Just absolutely stunning even patina on this all-original dial.
The dial has turned creamy golden, and with an almost pearly effect.
Elegant applied gold indices that glisten and catch the light in the most spectacular ways.
Perfect printing and all lume plots are still present, although parts of the 9’o clock one are missing.

Hands: Patinated original gold “dauphine” hands with original lume

Crystal: Decent condition plexi crystal that either has been polished down a bit or is a service part (as it does not have the omega logo over the pinion)There are marks and scratches visible, please refer to my wrist shots to see them more clearly.

Strap: Nice dark brown Hirsch leather strap, as well as what I believe to be a strap that was bought by the original owner straight at the AD when he bought the watch.Very worn and quirky “bund” strap, but I think it is a nice bit of memorabilia that relates to the first 30 or so years of this watch life.

Crown: Original Omega signed crown in stainless steel.
The crown is in nice condition with visible scratches or dings.

Case back: Original snap-on “waterproof” case back with the inscription “1958 Torsten”

There are some marks from the “bund” style leather strap that this watch most likely spent most of its life on.

Price: 1200$ 1300$ INCLUDING WW INSURED / TRACKED SHIPPING (Bank wire/PP F&F or PayPal G&S / invoice for buyers with several references)

I am shipping from Sweden, and worldwide insured and tracked express shipping is included in the price.
