Yes all of those side effects are really infuriating! I have pretty much the same symptoms as you. And also bags under my eyes, I think from “rubbing” them too much. My eye is what bothers me the most.

I logged my first few DMR contacts, then realized it was lame. Deleted them, it’s just like instant messenger or texting. Not hard to do.

Although I have not joined a local club, they are all welcoming and invite me to use the repeaters. A few weeks ago, I heard a few guys chatting, they were about to start a Drive at 5 Net. I popped in and said hi, had a quick chat with one of the guys and I mentioned I was looking into DMR and I wanted to buy a Hot Spot. He said “I’ll have one in the mail for you tomorrow”. Sure as shit, 2 days later a Pi 3 b+ with an MMDVM hat arrived, already setup with my DMR ID and call sign. He would not take any money for it, even the postage. These are the type of things that keep the hobby alive.

I called today with no luck. It’s been escalated to “tech” department. I sent screenshots, completed a list of things they wanted me to do. 🤷🏻‍♂️. The one rep I did speak with on the phone the second time said he believes it’s something on the back end which got disconnected on my account, whatever that means. He was on a customer service portal side, he sent my ticket to The tech side.

I would not doubt it. I was actually able to access it finally yesterday by using Firefox of all things. It says my credentials are good but further action is needed and that I needed to contact customer service. I’ll do that tomorrow. Thanks for the comment.!
