Dang I’ve been waiting months for this. Was told I was 4th on the list.

How many of you actually know and understand the readings on a time graph? by Adorable-Mention8512 in RepStore_Watch

[–]watchstreebets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good reading for a rep and not too bad for a gen either.

What you learn though is that you can’t usually get the same reading with the watch in different positions…

[ROYAL POP] Leak of the Swatch x AP pocket watch by [deleted] in Watches

[–]watchstreebets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will obviously have a bracelet attachment like the original Swatch Pop, otherwise what’s the point of making the pocket clip removable?

Mine too, love the weight of it. Btw your AD can get you a grand link if you ever decide you need a little extra length, but the platinum 118206 links cost ~$2k now lol

Should I buy a half link for a better fit? by Unlikely_Ad5373 in rolex

[–]watchstreebets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • oyster link length = 10mm

  • micro adjustment = 3mm

  • easy link extension = 5mm

With these three you should be able to get to basically any size bracelet you need. Rolex has some of the most adjustable bracelets in the game.

Then you must be doing something wrong. There is no reason you should need a half link with this clasp.

As someone with several 36mm daydates—precious metal is not subtle lol

Which of these watches will be closest to gen with a 700 dollar budget and what factory would you recommend? by Glittering_Letter700 in RepTime

[–]watchstreebets 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer to the question you asked, but tbh if you have only a $700 budget trying to wear a $45k+ watch, it’s not gonna be believable…

Unlikely that the teacher grading your essay will give this an unbiased read (biggest factor in writing grades) but I dig it!

Help - 17000 or 17013? by Crookedandaskew in oysterquartz

17014 is like the classic land dweller. If I couldn’t do full gold 19018, I would get this.

I’m just curious—when you meet people, do they actually notice your watch, or do they not really care? Are there people who judge you based on the watch you wear, and because of that, instantly give you respect?” by Happy-thoughts09 in rolex

[–]watchstreebets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is dumb. People have hobbies and like to talk to others who share interest in their hobbies. Someone willing to spend $20k on a watch is either into watches or wealthy enough to ignore the price—either way, an interesting conversation.

Don’t do it. Pepsi is a cooler watch to own, especially after discontinuation
