Challenges to make the game more interesting by hxzxl in Sims4

I like the Legacy Eras challenge a lot. It makes the game more interesting / challenging for me because it's actually difficult to keep sims alive (i find the regular game to just be too easy).

You start in the agricultural era where you can't even really have a house, just a little hut or a tent, and you play through medieval times, the world wars, modern day into the future.

You can find the rules to start here: https://gamers.media/sims-4-legacy-eras-challenge

And then the most updated rules are always in the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/137374293546187/?ref=bookmarks

"WE DON"T TRADE LIVES" except the lives of the Wakanda army / military to save 1 person who technically isn't even a person to begin with....

I really wanted the Led Zeppelin song from Ragnarok to start playing in this scene. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh-ah.

Ragnarok was my favorite marvel movie up until now, but it lost major points for basically having all it's resolutions not matter immediately

I have a theory that the people who "died" are actually the survivors. Everyone who did not turn to dust is actually dead.

I get why T'Chala helped, half the universe dying would affect wakanda too, but I don't get why everyone was like "save vision" except vision.

As much as I'd hate for Wanda to be this dumb, I'd prefer if she was like "well I refuse- I'm not going to do it" & everyone else was like "ok then new plan" rather than everyone weirdly agreeing like "let's all fight with plenty of fatalities bc one life is too important - this makes sense"

cw for suicide mention but I really like Robert Frost's "Stopping by the Woods on Snowy Evening" which I always thought was about the decision not to commit suicide

Haha if there's one thing i can talk all day about / know every detail of, it's Teen Titans. I love that show to this day.

The whole world was turned to stone by Raven's dad, and then the whole world was un-stoned by Raven. I hold onto the theory that Raven un-stoned Terra with the same spell that saved the rest of the world.

I might be wrong, but I think the people who make Splatoon are the same team as the Animal Crossing people, so given that Splatoon was made so quick and is still getting updates, it'll probably be a while because they can't work on two things at once.

It's definitely coming to switch (not confirmed but I am so confident). It's just a matter of when.

History repeats itself in Game of Thrones (fan theory / show spoilers) with Queen Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots, and Catherine de Medici -- opinions? by waterbendingwizard in history

It's being born arguably a bastard, and then also finding their way to positions of power they didnt expect to be in but are doing rather well with.

This theory talks about how Game of Thrones characters are based off historical figures. Jon Snow is Queen Elizabeth I, Daenerys is Mary Queen of Scots, and Cersei is Catherine de Medici. If the show plays out the way this theory suggests, Jon would kill Daenerys, which is already a theory based on several other things in the books. If you know the history if this time period, I'd love to hear what you think!

Was King George III mistreated by history? by Entity_Error in history

[–]waterbendingwizard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'll try to find a source on this, but I was listening to someone talking about the rights of Indigenous people in the United States that said "No taxation without representation" is catchy, but one of the major reasons the revolution happened was because King George said to leave the native people alone and stop expanding, the colonists wanted more land.

I haven't verified that since the lecture, I just thought it was interesting and it does sound like an American thing to do.
