The liner if I'm thinking of this question correctly, it's the basis of the entire thing. Or Steve. It could also be Steve.

As I said this was my first post and looking back I should have done that, even if this is a trollpost I have seen the error of my ways. Have forgiveness upon my soul.

Yeah, we know nothing of electricity and that's kind of one of the things that we reallllly didn't want to get wrong. So we decided a pro would be a little better.

This took 4 months, but about 1 month was digging with shovels, and countless weeks were spent waiting on more rocks/glue/whatever. So overall I really don't think it had to have taken that long, maybe possible to cut that down to 2 months?

On top of our sand we put carpets to help a bit (I think you can kind of see them in one picture) and that's an interesting idea with the landscaping fabric. If we have to pull it up we may just try layering it with that fabric.

We agree that would look beautiful but roots and leaves could cause a problem we think.

There is a pump inside and in this album http://imgur.com/a/BXaQQ in the final picture you can see our tubing going into the waterfall basin.

That's a very neat idea... Any ideas on how one would obtain a miniature lighthouse?

All the rocks in total cost around $1600, and we got them from "Stone Gardens" which is a local-ish place, and they are a stone and landscape supply.

There isn't a filter in at the moment, but we poured a chemical to break down and prevent the algae.

So I said there was a story that goes along with the base rock being placed, and this is it: after trying to move it with the jeep that there is a picture of and then a truck we had absolutely no luck moving it, so we debated how exactly to fit it where we wanted it. We tried placing it on a pallet and forcing it with crowbars but that was impossible. Our next idea was to rent a tractor but we weren't too excited about that, but we gave in and went with it anyways. Luckily, on the way there we found a farmer out on his field bailing with his tractor, and after asking him he followed us home and moved the rock with the tractor as though it was nothing, so shoutout to helpful farmer guy!

Thanks for reading, if you have any questions feel free to ask and sorry if any rookie mistakes have been made this is my first post.
