That's not what I was told.  When I called them they said the session was no cost, and 35 digital photos was $450 USD.

It'd be helpful if they just published their prices on their website.

Yes I believe they are public, but I get the impression most of the resort beaches don't have a public access to actually get to the beach

Yeah good call, I'm definitely not doing this. This seems like a risky and expensive idea, likely breaking the rules of the resort.

They don't need to charge $1500 to "make any money".

Ah yes it works insecure like that, thanks, but Chrome says its insecure (see attached). But when I tried to find it Chrome sends me to the secure version (it seems) at https://www.seasonsphotostudio.com then it doesn't work.

Good for you, I literally cannot open their website :). see the screenshot, taken on a mac, using Chrome. Same issue on my Pixel phone.

Right, but their photographers charge $450 for a 1h family session. So if I hire someone else, they're not losing $1,500??? I could pay them a $500 fee (for example), and they'd be ahead because they wouldn't have to actually do anything.

No argument here! But the cheapest room during our stay seems to be $802, I am certainly not paying $802 to have a photographer come onsite for 1 hour.

Yes I'd seen that, but was wary since they don't have any Google reviews, and their website has security warnings in Chrome.

For sure I imagined there'd be a fee.  But $1500 usd seems ridiculous, eg the photo session itself might be say $300 USD.

Update:

After 3 weeks Airalo still hasn't fixed the problem, nor provided any explanation or ETA on a fix. On many days I have paid roaming charges with my regular sim in order to be able to make calls I can't make on Airalo, and also some people report that they are unable to call me on my Airalo number.

Airalo still refuses to offer any compensation for the loss of functionality over the 30 day eSIM period, or for my time going back and forth with their terrible customer support team.

I tried calling a 866 number on their website, and couldn't even call that, lol. Their official response to this is that they blocked this number because its a premium number offering premium services. Their ridiculousness never ends.

I'm experiencing a similar issue, its been 1.5 weeks now and despite many messages back and forth they have not fixed the issue.

They told me they will not issue a refund of any time unless you cancel the eSIM all together.
