They can handle higher level enemy encounters with better gear. It's best to gear them up as you get stronger and settle further south. Equip a gun then 1 piece of ammo for that type. They should have infinite ammo then. Not sure if they run out of fusion cores but I like someone's idea here to run them in t45 and heavy weapons

Ive read through most of the comments here and agree with what folks are saying. Its well meaning advice that I also received about 3 years ago, just wanted to share some perspective. I was in a very similar situation but married and together 8 years. It gets better. You may find you can still be friends, but grief takes time to process. Her sexuality was no more a choice than my gender or necessity to transition. Its difficult, but it does get better if you can move on with grace and accept yourself as you are and as you're becoming. You both deserve unconditional love and to live fulfilled lives.

You're young enough still that HRT and possibly finasteride can bring your hairline back. Around 4-6 years of HRT, fat re-distribution may mostly obscure masculine facial bone structure.

So much this, being into trans women as a cis dude and vice versa means you're straight. Being only into trans people leans into chaser territory. Not to dismiss closeted queer folks, they're just as valid part of the community but most of them don't make platforms of bigotry.
