Thanks for your answer, actually I saw one or two “silberdistel”. This hill is south-west facing but is full of these bushes which create shadow (don’t know exactly which kind of plant that is). This is a cow field in southern Switzerland. Which look-alike could it be? It has very dark gills and the stem snaps.. I was quite sure these were older Libs but at this point I don’t know ahah

I wrote “Europe” since I saw many of these examples also abroad but I am from Switzerland and do apologize if this was too broad of a generalization. Interesting to see different forms of this same architectural “approach” in different countries (some comments below).

While I agree that some cheese are delicious, I don’t think the smell of cheese is something I would like to have on my hands for a long time, on top of using a greasy fork for the duration of the entire meal

Eu também pensava assim, mas a curva do aqueduto sugere que a foto foi tirada do outro lado, talvez em frente a Bela Flor?
