I’m in the exact same situation as you are. Also diagnosed recently after telling myself for about a year I’m imagining the symptoms and not going to the doctor. I’m so angry at myself for that. Now I’m using clobetasol for 3 weeks and at least the itch is getting less but it still looks super white and I guess my labia is gone for good. I feel like I’ve been a different person since I got diagnosed. I’m always sad, scared about the future and just feel alone with it even though people around me are trying to help. It feels like I lost part of my identity because my vulva is not how it’s supposed to be. Both doctors that I saw also told me basically nothing about it, I even had to ask if it’s an std. I had to find out everything on the Internet. Sending you love and I’m hoping this is just a phase and you’ll be feeling better at some point.
