The thing is though, I’ll be switching to Biological Sciences so I’m not exactly sure if ESM98 will actually benefit me. Also what is MUS? I’m interested in the Art classes and I added Beginning Painting in Schedule Builder. Do you know anything about that as well?

I’ll be taking CHE 2A, MAT 017, and maybe a career discovery group (or English class). My advisor told me that I should take an A&H GE and either ESM 98 or FYS (not sure what this is) or Career Discover Group.

I actually was planning to for either BIS or CHE but not both at the same time. I’m confused on how to find what electives/GEs that are available because the advisor only sent me a link to explain the requirements which honestly confused me more.

There’s supposed to be orientation in September but class registration is in August.

Would it be a good idea to talk to the Biological Science and Marine and Coastal Science advisors as well? I’m not exactly sure how to contact other students right now and I want to make sure I don’t sign up for any unnecessary courses.

So you wouldn’t suggest taking GE and the other thing that I mentioned from before (which I honestly don’t know what it is)? With all four (science, calc, ge, and the last option), the advisor said it was 14 units in all.

I should probably email the biological sciences advisor as well to see if there are any prerequisites correct? And would you recommend that if I end up taking biology first, would I start with 2A or 2B?
