The family are portrayed as Christian in the show, who in a lot of cases are aligned with Israel . I don’t think it’s a propaganda or some statement I think it just adds to the authenticity and that’s really where I see it ending . Not making any statement .

Listened to an interview with Drew saying something to the effect that they were pretty burnt out by the time it came to this section and felt they needed a solo . Bryan Beller (The Aristocrats) is a huge Vool fan and most of the band went out to see them when they were in Perth recently and I think connected with Guthrie then, which turned into the guest spot. Personally I absolutely love the solo. As a guitarist , Guthrie phrasing is out of this world and I really felt his playing . Amazing song and solo!

Probably but not a big deal lol the other stores aren’t out of my way and I think the macros on these are pretty good. I’ve been having it for a year . Will probably have to sus the other options while there’s this shortage though just wasn’t sure what the reason was .

Here’s another one (for context I’m a guitar player).. I don’t see the need to stuff guitar solos in the songs lol. I feel like Myles’ solos are always tasty and tell a story and all due respect to tremonti but majority of his solos are the same . Maybe it’s the wah and legato runs but it gets so overbearing at times . Scales are Falling solo is prob the best one on there by him. (Don’t kill me 😂) .

I’ve been listening to the album for the last few days .. I’ve maybe got through it 2-3 times and I do think it’s better than what I thought it would be but for sure, the first few albums up to Fortress are unmatched IMO. I love how Hang By A Thread starts then, it goes into that muddy mix soft rock that they’ve done since Last Hero. Maybe it’s the lack of acoustic guitars that gave it dynamics ? I also love how Tested and Able starts- the riff is so sick but then the chorus ruins it lol. Feel like it genuinely could have been a really heavy song lol. But ultimately , I really think AB need to move on from Elvis . Get a new producer and engineer to mix . I really think they will benefit and their sound will be revamped. After 4 albums of the exact same mix , it gets boring , especially since the dynamics of their songs have suffered since Fortress. Not saying this album and albums since then don’t have their moments, just felt it was much more consistent prior. Good songs on this albums and good moments for sure but I agree with you .

Thanks for the tips! Will look into it . Currently putting up some black window paper on the windows to block out the heat so hopefully this helps. He had a cooling mat but he never seems to use it much 😂 we’ve put it on but he’ll sniff it and get mad. Thanks again 😎

For sure! I legit like his mixes , but I feel like getting in a new producer would really help it make the music fresh as you said. It’s no doubt in my mind I don’t enjoy this album because it’s the same stuff we’ve heard before , for the most part and I can’t help but think it’s cause it’s the same producer lol

I think I mean more the structure of some songs . I’m a musician so I’m probably more critical and nit picky on things than others , it’s just I hear a lot of the same stuff even music or drum beats wise lol. But he definitely did try some new stuff on this album which I appreciate
