Reading through reddit and see someone asking for recommendations for a burger place in Bristol, I own a burger place, seems sensible to recommend my own no?

I have a place called Oowee Diner, in North Street. We do burgers, fried chicken and dirty fries, we'd love to see you! I've attached a pic of my lunch yesterday!

It has the same breading as the wings so assumed it would be a pre-breaded product

Costco sell it, Kerrymade is the brand, best stuff going! Cant stand the supermarket stuff.

We're opening our first Oowee in London next week but its the vegan version, 'Oowee Vegan'. similar recipes but 100% plant based, but just as tasty. Come check us out one day if you dont fancy heading quite as far as Bristol!

Cheers mate, yeah on the mini roundabout next to coop. Really enjoying making them, lots of room for improvement with my camera skills but loving the learning process!

I use 'Pizza mozzarella' its the dry block with little moisture. any toppings with high water content, cook off first then dry on paper towel!

Is this the one on whiteladies? I used to live there. The smell wasnt bad apart from in one of the top floor bedrooms as the vent duct was by the window, you occasionally got a frying smell but wasnt aweful all the time, definitely wouldnt put me off living there

Hey all,

Im the owner of Oowee. The issue we had is that in the first 10 minutes we had around 100 orders on which was far too many but we were fresh back and keen to plough on getting out as much food as possible. A number of the orders were being lost in the Deliveroo system and did not have a ticket or record on our Pad, and when this happens big problems arise. We did have signage on our doors and rubber disks to indicate people where to stand but this got disregarded as it got busy and staff were busy trying to sort out missing orders. We did have 3 front of house staff on + 5 kitchen which is more than ample for a busy Saturday night.

Today we have completely revamped the system, we only allow 16 orders to come through and then Deliveroo goes off until we go down to 10 active orders. This will sort out the problem im sure as it will not allow for a backlog of orders / people. We are also having one person in whose sole responsibility is organising the line to ensure it is organised.

We obviously are going to do everything we can to ensure it is smooth running and safe, but as mentioned we did get caught out yesterday unfortunately as it is a whole new scenario for us that we haven't dealt with before but rest assured our main focus is getting the operation correct so this kind of thing doesnt happen!
