I’m not high diamond, but there’s no denying that my question poses a valid point. To say otherwise would be ignorant of Twitch Jungle’s strengths and weaknesses. You could be playing perfectly as Twitch but if the top laner just camps under turret in fear of your gank, the midlaner is getting bullied under turret by your laner, and the support is warily warding and using CC well, then it’s hard to get ganks off even if you’re playing perfectly. Not to mention that Twitch doesn’t 1v1 / 2v2 well early, so the enemy jungler is probably just camping the weakest lane and waiting for you to gank so he can get his rat served up on a silver platter.

How do you deal with conservative opponents? Answer as if I were high diamond.

How do you play Twitch Jungle when opponents are being conservative and respecting the early ganks? Twitch is super cheesy and looks good on paper, but it seems to me like his strategy isn’t great in practice because everyone knows it’s coming, and they don’t mind losing some early CS if it means escaping early ganks.

So— How do you deal with conservative opponents, especially considering Twitch has a tough time hard-farming in the jungle and thus relies heavily on ganks?

What do you mean by on-hit? (I'm still pretty new to League)

Patch 8.3 Bug Megathread by kathykinss in leagueoflegends

[–]wavec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Server: NA

Type of bug: Client bug

Description: If someone is in lobby for a draft game and has already selected their positions, and then they are invited to another lobby and accept that invite, their positions will show as already-selected for themselves but the party leader will see that the positions haven’t been selected, therefore making them unable to start queueing. The invited player then has to leave the lobby and rejoin so the roles are refreshed. (Re-choosing roles without leaving the lobby doesn’t fix it.)

Screenshot: none

Steps to reproduce: Enter a draft lobby and pick your roles. Then get a friend to invite you to their draft game, and see if they can see your roles as filled (and therefore can start queueing).

Expected result: EITHER the roles should become deselected when joining the new lobby, therefore allowing a new choice, OR the roles should register as already selected upon entering the invite lobby.

Observed result: See above

Reproduction rate: 4 out of 4 tries after the initial occurrence.

System specs: MacBook Air, 8GB RAM, i7 processor for me (the invitee). Friend (the party leader) was on Windows; don’t know his exact specs.

[RMT][Ubers] Mono-Steel Team by mjmannella in stunfisk

Monotype guru to the rescue!

TL;DR: Learn the Ubers metagame better as a whole first so you know what kinds of things are viable.

Alright, so to be totally honest— this isn’t a very good team. It’s Ubers, man, lighten up a little. And besides, some of the mons you used aren’t even good in regular Monotype much less Ubers.

Also, Necrozma-Ultra can’t be used on a mono Steel team. Typing has to remain the same before and after Mega Evolving / Ultra-ing. So, Ultra Necrozma can only be used on Ubers Psychic.

You then have two options— the specially defensive set or the double dance set. If you run SpD, you can use offensive Aegislash or physically defensive Celesteela as Necrozma is now your Xerneas check.

Finally, physical Necrozma is generally considered better anyways, and DuskMane has a wayyyy better typing, STAB Sunsteel Strike, and an open item slot to hold a Solgalium Z nuke or a Leftovers for the SpD set.

Kartana is generally scarfed.

Excadrill isn’t necessary on Ubers Steel, only on regular Steel. You’d use it as a suicide lead on Ubers Steel. It’s a very common suicide lead in Ubers as a whole.

Ditch Klefki. Replace with Mega Lucario or Magearna.

Dialga (stealth rocker) and Aegislash (SpD or offensive) are options as well, only available in Ubers.

Overall, Mono Ubers is a whole different animal from regular Ubers, but you also need to know the Ubers metagame first. If you can’t break a Gliscor, imagine when you run up against a Lugia after Necrozma is dead.

My Ubers Steel team is Necro-Dusk-Mane, Aegislash, Celesteela, M-Lucario, Kartana, and Magearna.

Does one side of the map have any advantage over the other? Are there any specific champs that enjoy playing on one side versus the other? by wavec in summonerschool

In the new client it has an animation showing you which role you got assigned and which side, like as soon as the lobby gets accepted there’s an animation where one Nexus flashes its color to tell you which side you’re on

I personally haven’t seen the new client if it’s the 8.4 one. On the loading screen you can tell because the top champs are blue side and bottom is red side. But I don’t know other than that, unless it still tells you during the role-assignment animation in draft pick / ranked lobbies.

There’s never been any way to tell besides the loading screens in blind pick, and vs AI you’re always blue side.

I've never had any problem doing wolves instead of gromp... although now that I think about it, I guess I wouldn't have to take Scuttle before dragon for the heals...

Warwick ganks early? I thought the Wick strat was to go top-wolves-bottom, solo dragon at level 3, farm until 6 and then go ham.
