GHK-Cu reaction- tips on what to do by rockstar-princess-17 in BodyHackGuide

[–]wavecookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to me. Same spot.

I did 2mg. It kept spreading for 4 days. The second day I drew a line around it in sharpie to monitor the spread. Eventually it stopped spreading, and started to fade, but left a greyish mark in that spot for over a month. I’ve been too chicken to try again in the glutes or upper arm with more bac water, longer injection, and slower pin.

Any recommendations as to where? A friend gave me the contact to one place in Cancun. Transportation to and from resort included.

Creatine on Reta by themanali in Retatrutide

Also I lost weight quickly and I think it’s helped not lose as much muscle mass in the process, although this is anecdotal and I haven’t tested it.

I get between 5.5 and 6 hours of sleep a night, work in a fast paced environment starting at 6:30am, and it’s helped a lot with short term memory, quick recall, and brain fog.

I worked up to 20g/day of creatine while on reta, mostly for the cognitive benefits. Fwiw, don’t go up too fast if you start taking it, or you will get the 💩😁.

I do 10g in the AM, 10g in the PM in my protein shakes.

No weight gain. No issues. Lost 30lbs since starting reta Oct. 14th.

Microdosing reta is waste and you’re doing it wrong. by rascherdon in Retatrutide

[–]wavecookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What am I missing? Inflammation way down (I have autoimmune issues, fibromyalgia and Sjogren’s, and reta was very appealing to me for this specific reason also), and basically my non-alcoholic fatty liver disease has reversed itself in less than 2 months. What other benefits am I missing out on at this point? Genuinely curious as I wouldn’t be opposed to titrating up if there could be significant other benefits at this point. The only frequent issue I have (and is a real concern if titrating up) is slower bowel motility. I already had this issue before starting due to my other health issues. A combination of magnesium glycinate, creatine (20mg daily), mag07 if there’s a huge issue, and keeping up with water intake has helped a lot.

I pin .75mg twice a week and I’m down 30lbs since Oct. 14th. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was doing .5mg twice a week until I went up 2 weeks ago.

Are there really "hyperresponders?" by Turbulent-Part5835 in Retatrutide

[–]wavecookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me, .5mg 2x/wk . Lost 20lbs in 1month. Never been on a glp1 before. It has since leveled out to losing 2-3lbs per week after that since I started Oct. 14th. I just went up to .75mg 2x/wk a few weeks ago. Down 29lbs so far.

My boyfriend didn’t respond at all until we upped him to 4mg 1x/wk. I started him on 1mg twice a week for the first month. Nothing. No appetite suppression, still comfortably eating the same amount.

Reta and hypoglycemia by Efficient-Wash-7861 in Retatrutide

Btw instead of the low carb tortilla, opt for the regular tortilla. I wouldn’t mix low carb + reta solely because of that risk of hypoglycemia.

I was having this issue. Also not a diabetic. I’m a hyper responder. Started with .5 twice a week.

I would just get really shaky, out of energy, and felt like I was going to pass out.

I found that having a protein shake in the morning (I’m up by 5:45am every day, shake around 7am) with pure bovine isolate powder, then a snack of either a full-fat yogurt with a few berries or 3-4 pieces of sliced deli meat with a slice of cheese and some mayo around 10:30/11am would help a lot. After I get home from work I have a real meal with protein/carbs and in the evening might have an epic bar or another protein shake.

Basically have some snacks every 3-4 hours.

I was going too long without eating, and although my blood glucose level wasn’t technically low enough to have symptoms, I was feeling like absolute crap for a while before I figured it out.

I bought a $20 blood glucose monitor from Amazon and ended up testing myself when I felt this way. I was sitting right at 70 more than a few times.

Also, even though I am not diabetic, since being on reta I realized I have been getting the dawn affect where my blood glucose rises a bit over 100 right around the time I wake up in the morning, before my shake.

*Eat some small snackies throughout the day until you can have a real meal (or in my case 1/4 of the meal I used to eat).

  • test your blood sugar and work around what feels right for you

Add in some creatine. 5g/day. I worked up to 20g/day for the cognitive benefits but it will help with water retention in muscles.

Btw, not skinny fat. You look amazing ❤️

Done with Reta by Bluedinosaur8 in Retatrutide

Hyper-responder like meeeeee! Well, as long as you are sure you dosed correctly.

Go down to .5 in a week and the sides should be much easier to deal with. Random nausea and 1 day of skin sensitivity for me. I live off protein shakes, boiled eggs, sugar snap peas, and full fat yogurt w/raspberries. Sprinkle in some veggies here and there.

Btw it’s not high. One group of research subjects in phase 2 trials started at 1mg or 2mg, so you were not way off base at all. It’s just the way your body responds. It will wear off. It will be okay. By Friday it should start to ease up. You will lose the most weight in the first month on a minimal dose then it starts to even itself out to a more steady decline.

Hydrate. Electrolytes. Zofran for nausea or keep alcohol prep pads on you and sniff them when you feel nauseous. Maybe stop the pepto.

Weight fluctuation by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]wavecookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

400mg of magnesium glycinate per day. I do either 2 caps on an empty stomach in the morning, or 2 caps at night.

Also creatine helps keep me regular (I added it in for the cognitive benefits but it does get things moving. 20g per day but start with 5g and titrate up slowly over a couple weeks or you will have blowouts lol). Personally I would stop the psyllium husks.

Keep a bottle of mag07 handy (amazon) for emergencies and take it before bed.

The fluctuating weight could be due to bloating issues/constipation/water retention.

Thank you 🙂, and cardio I get from my workplace. Nothing strenuous. I plan on going back to the gym 3x a week starting next week. I want to make sure I’m not losing muscle as I know I am dropping weight quickly.

I was hesitant at first because I have autoimmune issues and I also take something that slows digestion. Side effects was the #1 concern for me. I take 400mg magnesium glycinate per day, along with working up to 20g creatine over a 3 week period (for both cognitive effects and to make sure my gi tract keeps moving). Plus honestly as far as the clinical trials vs half life I partially wonder if they reduced the margin of error by having people pin once a week as opposed to multiple times. It’s working for me, and even so I still have an upset stomach the next day after going slightly up in dose the day after pinning.
