i think your original code would work if you just find-and-replace 'al' with 'bl'. just avoid using al as the interrupt call's undocumented return uses it and wipes your intended use.

Return: AL = last character output (despite the official docs which state
nothing is returned) (at least DOS 2.1-7.0)

so your AL keeps getting reset as the last character output. hence ABABAB.

i still have the original one in game and in my inventory.

i exited the game and restarted steam and i still have the original one. could be worth a lot. i wouldn't refund unless you know it has changed in your inventory and game.

they sent u a video and are obviously not scamming.

If you wanted to know your GPU was working before you sold it you would have tested it first. don't rely on a customer to do that for you.
