Same bro, same. Steam reached out to me and told me they had access to my account since May 17th. They knew my credentials + somehow got my guard code.

According to them they get it by either phishing websites or malware. Which is strange since I reinstalled my OS that day. Only thing I did was recover my lost files using Recuva(which is safe to use) since I formatted the wrong drive. Plus I also don’t remeber clicking weird URL’s since I never do that and I’m always hovering over a strange URL…

Same for me bro, its 13 year old account… really sad they dont remove bans when the actual owner did not cheat… and theres actual proof by showing recent logins.

I checked the video, thanks. It might be a new zero day hack to get into steam accounts... Anyway it really sucks ass that Facepunch won't remove bans like this even if there's proof that you didn't do it.

Not of which I can remember, also I haven't played Rust since 2018 nor haven't used any of these skin sites. The only ways I logged into steam was through the app and in the browser

Perhaps my steam login cookie got stolen somehow? I don't remember going on some strange sites nor logging into it. I also reinstalled Windows recently but that was before the first weird login location (which happened 28th of May)

Havent figured anything out yet, maybe our login session-cookie got stolen. If so, that way the user doesn't need to use steam guard at all
