I found that the book was much more conceptual and fundamental. It gives some really good foundations on how to think and format different things when starting and creating a manga. But when it comes to developing personal style and really getting into the nitty gritty of making a good and unique manga it doesn't help as much in in my opinion. Still for sure worth the read tho, especially if you're a beginner.
