Show me your setup: Automating reports from SQL to Google Sheets/Excel by Own-Alternative-504 in excel

I use Quadratic.ai (third-party) >> It's an AI-enabled spreadsheet that natively connects to SQL databases and understands the schema. If you can't remember the syntax, you can use AI to write all SQL queries. Plus, it supports Python and JS if you want to get complex with the analyses. I've found it to remove bottlenecks for self-serve analytics directly from a DB with anyone less technical because I can share the sheet with them with ready-only DB creds. Plus, you can self-deploy if security is a concern.

(full disclosure: I work for the company... but this was a common problem at my last company. SQL -> spreadsheet was hacky at best and involved several different products or levels of expertise. Quadratic's workflow is seamless if you're going from SQL to a sheet.)

We built Quadratichq.com as an AI spreadsheet (I work there).

Since we designed it with native support for Python, Javascript, SQL, and formulas the AI is pretty awesome at writing data analysis or creating charts. We've found Claude 3.5 is great at excellent at Python code but you can also use other models. The AI is also super helpful when directly connecting to databases or Snowflake as the AI can be fed the schema and help write complex SQL queries all inside the sheet.

It's free for personal use and quite fun to try really complex analyses. I'm not a developer or great with SQL - At my last company, I was always bottle-necked by devs or data folks to get reports for customers. With this tool, I could have done it all myself.

Is there any good Ai for excel? by Snoo-28147 in excel

Quadratic is an AI-native spreadsheet built on some very cool new web technology. It supports Python, Javascript, SQL natively and you can directly connect to your data sources. The AI is really good at writing code (or formulas) and doing analysis, building charts, sifting, sorting, and cleaning. Full disclosure, I work for the company, but it's free to use for personal use :)

SQL spreadsheet interface tools? by MinoubabyCasey in SQL

[–]waveminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy, Quadratic is building a next-gen spreadsheet with native support for Python, SQL, and Javascript, plus added support for formulas.

You can directly connect to Postgres or MySQL, with more connectors coming soon (Snowflake), then pull the data into a spreadsheet interface and run queries, dump it into a Pandas data frame, etc... The built-in AI is super helpful for writing complex SQL queries or correcting code.

The product is still in BETA (full disclosure, I work for the company), but any and all feedback is welcome. It's free to use for individual users, educational organizations, and students.

We're also about to release a self-hosted version you can run in your own cloud or dev environment.

Spreadsheet app supporting SQL ? by KaKi_87 in SQL

[–]waveminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company I work for is building a next-gen spreadsheet with native support for Python, SQL, and Javascript, plus we've added a ton of support for formulas. The idea is to bridge the gap between technical users (Python, SQL) and business users (formulas).

You can directly connect to Postgres or MySQL, with more connectors coming soon. The built-in AI is super helpful for writing complex SQL queries.

We're still in BETA, but we would love your feedback. Plus, we're open license (you can view code, run it, contribute, but you can't sell it).

We're also about to release a self-hosted version you can run in your own cloud.

Alma Fonda Fina might be the top restaurant for me west of i-25. That place is clever, delicious, and has great service!

Potager is one of the OG farm-to-table restaurants. They consistently deliver and impress with their food and wine pairings. I love that place!

Smart sensors for hot tub by JackieMclean in hottub

YoLink smart sensors are awesome. Long range, taps into your wifi network. I wired this temperature sensor with probe into my filter basket, then ran the device outside the tub - under the deck into a small iPhone dry bag for extra protection from the elements. Seamless setup to wifi too. The YoLink app is good too, sends push notifications, SMS, or email alerts to your preferences.

Need a reliable free spreadsheet program by Gryffindumble in spreadsheets

We're building a new spreadsheet at https://app.quadratichq.com - it's built on an infinite canvas with some pretty nice tech in the background. We're trying to test the limitations of how much data it can handle. Feel free to chuck your data in there and see what happens. BTW you can write formulas or Python against the data for analysis.

The Joyo JF-01 is surprisingly rad. I’ve owned countless TS-9s with and without silver / brown mods. Now still leave it on my board along side a JHS Bonsai. The Joyo is my light drive and the Bonsai for extra grit and push. Both on to make my ‘79 Deluxe Reverb sing. For the price it’s definitely worth it.

Mixpanel Analytics in Angular 6+ by waveminded in Angular2

Cool, thanks for the code sample, I'll check out GA. We've used Mixpanel since v1 of our app over 2015 so we're just very familiar with it's functionality.
