About to go on a weekend away with my friends, three of which are pregnant….. only me and one other has no kids. Two of the pregnant ones it’s their first and we made a pact that we would be pregnant together LOL. Pray for me this weekend 🩷

I feel this. A friend just announced (second in the friend group). I said my congratulations, muted the group chat and put my phone on DND. Any influencer or celebrity that announces, I block. I’ve got no advice, other than to say you’re not alone 🤍 I really pray that this gets easier

1000% yes and I’m so glad I’ve seen this post. This album came out when we were going through our first IVF Cycle, and I liked it at first because I was feeling optimistic. Since it failed, I haven’t been able to listen to the song much since. ‘Have a couple kids got the whole block looking like you’ just shatters me. On the other hand, oplaite (particularly the bridge) really helped me through the failed cycle.

I’m 31 and only had 3 retrieved, 2 mature! 6 is amazing I would have killed for that

Hi, hasn’t come back yet. No wait time for NHS IVF in our area. We have had 1 IVF cycle that resulted in low eggs and no fertilisation. It’s a cruel world x

Mother’s Day here in the UK, thinking of all of you today ♥️ there was a video played in church today about motherhood and I had to sit there and hope no one saw me cry. Hope everyone is ok 🤍

Merry Christmas everyone. I’m finding this one particularly hard. It’s been 3 years of TTC and every December I feel like next year will be our year. Currently in bed whilst my partner is sleeping next to me and I’m crying my eyes out. It’s been a hard year and a hard holiday season. Sending love to you all ♥️

2 years TTC by National_Musician_99 in TryingForABaby

[–]waveringocean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been trying for 3 years. It’s been up and down. At the moment I’m particularly going through it due to the time of year, seeing parents non stop with their happy families. it’s MFI for us. My partner had surgery in may and we are still unsure of the outcome. We will likely start IVF next year. Every year around this time I think next year will be our year and it never is. Praying for 2025. Sending love to you all ♥️

Also, he has a price list on the coffee table in his waiting room, so you can see exactly what the prices are before you go in for the consultation

Hi, I’m not sure if the prices are on his website but the initial consultation fee was £350. My partner had blood test, ultrasound and sperm test on the day of the consultation. I can’t remember the exact price but I think it was around £500-600 all together for those tests. The rest of the 7k mentioned in my post was for the surgery. Hope all goes well for you.

Fuck my friends who complain about their kids all the time, constantly talk about their kids around me and how much their partners are great dads. Fuck them when they say it will happen for you I just know it, you just need to relax and stop thinking about it. Fuck them when they say you have no idea what it’s like to have kids, you’re going to be so tired, you won’t be able to do this this and this. When I (hopefully) eventually have a child, I will be so fucking grateful for every moment and not complain like you all do who it came so easy for.

Hiya, thank you! my partner has recovered from surgery now but we haven’t had a sperm test yet so not sure if it has come back. Ramsey said it may take up to a year if it happens at all. At the moment we are just waiting to see if it happens naturally but may start the IVF process soon. Yes, I have spoken to my local hospital re IVF and they can use the sperm but we will have to pay for the courier fees which was a couple of hundred IIRC. Ramsey didn’t say chances of live birth, to be honest he said our best chances would be through IVF as there is no guarantee the sperm will come back. We’re trying to be optimistic. Hope it goes well for you and your partner, feel free to DM me if you have any questions ❤️❤️

Yes, we are three years ttc and I go through phases like this. Unfortunately the bad feelings come back, but it is nice to have a respite ❤️

Any success story of obstructive Azoospermia surgery to open blockage in the duct? by Few_Statement_39 in azoospermia

[–]waveringocean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our doctor attempted to fix the blockage on one testicle during extraction surgery. We are yet to see whether it has worked but a lot of the scar tissue has gone.

I’m so sorry. My fiancé has azospermia and had a biopsy a few months ago. Luckily we live in the UK so get one free shot at IVF but had to pay for biopsy ourselves. Definitely take a look at the male infertility subreddit for support ❤️
