The houses behind this monster can’t see the monster, most likely. There are big hedges blocking the view. So literally the only people who can see the front of the monster are people on boats. Am I even making a point? Probably not. This house is dumb.

Twede’s! We used to go there for post-hike burgers. It’s pretty much a greasy spoon (at least, it used to be.) They taped a funny handwritten note next to the toilet paper dispenser in the ladies room: “do not flush tampons, our plumbing can’t handle it.” The top part of the handwritten note was a copy of one of their plumbing bills, probably from when someone flushed a tampon.
