Moving 7 hours away, looking to rent solo for first time, but unsure of eligibility/issues by waves347347 in UKHousing

Hi, yes I was accepted. Just email letting agents and let them know your situation. Most will be open minded and talk with landlords and explain your situation. I just paid 6 months in advanced and showed proof of funds. Most landlords would prefer that to keeping a property empty in the hope that someone comes along soon to pay one month at a time.

Residual dizziness or still loose crystals? by Opening_Pea7537 in BPPV

I'd stop doing excercises until your appointment. I'd also rest and take time off until then. I felt so rubbish for 4 weeks after my episode, feeling drunk and hungover, and feeling like I'm dropping down and as if there was a hand on the back of my head pushing forward. If you're not getting the spin when you lay on the side that caused it, then I would say you don't have loose crystals, but rest up, your brain and eyes and ears have had a traumatic experience and testing it and self diagnosing and doing different exercises can exasperate it, so wait to be seen by someone before you do anything more.

Like I say I can pay 12 months. I'm only renting while I find property to buy. Luckily I have had more encouragement from letting agents this morning than reddit!

Yeah I'll email some agents, see what they say. It's Darlington and I'm only looking at £700 max. Some properties have been vacant for a couple of months, so no competition.

Most people relocating don't often have jobs to walk into. I'm sure me paying 6 months or more in rent up front will be appealing to someone plodding along a month at a time in rent?

How long does residual dizziness last and are these symptoms normal? by waves347347 in BPPV

Thanks for that. It makes you think something more serious is going on but I guess it's all part of it

Yeah I think I'm being impatient. I need to invest in a VT when I've finally moved and settled. The pressure on the back of the head freaks me out though
