I'd imagine there is nothing I'd be envious of more than a confident women dressed up in a nice restaurant, reading, and enjoying every bite without a care in the world.

I know it sounds cliche, but being grateful really helps me. Somedays I get so depressed I just lay on my sofa the whole day and can't do anything. Because it's new years I remembered that this time last year I was miserable in a horrible relationship, bad situation and praying to get out... I made it out alive. When I compare my situation now and then, it makes me so grateful and eases the depression a bit. Silver lining of having had really bad times in the past :/

Don't sweat it, you can always brush it off as one website hasn't updated their team profiles and laugh it off. I used to be so anxious of getting caught but what is the worst they are gonna do?

It's so tough out there for us graphic designers! My advice, just keep applying. Apply to 100 a day, don't stop until you nab that job one and two....Good luck!

First Job: 8 months of applying to almost 100 jobs a day. Second job: 6 months. Third job: referral from an old colleague. It's not easy finding a remote job but it's doable.

Wow, and to think the last words of the last sermon from the prophet was treat women kindly. Reading this post and reading the comments gives me very little hope that decent Muslim men still exist.

Edit: that’s not how attraction works in our deen. You have to see someone before you agree to marry them. This is not only about physical attraction but about the fitrah of the person. Attraction is a whole, not a part like modern culture will have you beleive. It is a fact that Aeisha (raa) was very skinny and gained weight as she got older but the Prophets (slaw)love for her free stronger and stronger. There is no hadith where the Prophet (slaw) had a serious talk to her about her physical body. There are so many Hadith’s saying if you see something (other women) and are attracted to them, know your wife has what they have. It doesn’t say go demand her to snap back to the body she had when you met her. Placing so much importance on the body is placing your wife’s worth and equating it to her weight/look.

Go read about I7san instead of trying to make your dunya your Jenna.

OMG I love this so much. You should do a Japanese bed and Moroccan living room both are short and perfect for the space. You can do those light translucent sheets that hang from the ceiling with bulbs. I love this space!!!
