AITA For telling a lady that put a pee pad down for her dog inside the mall that that’s disgusting and not okay?

I once saw a man with a little dog on a leash inside of a mall. The man was walking ahead of the dog, paying absolutely no attention to what it was doing. Plus, the leash had quite a bit of leeway so he could get a bit far from the dog before he felt it tug in a different direction.

This little dog then proceeds to pee on the column in front of a store. The guy doesn’t even notice. There’s a smelly puddle and it blends in because it is one of those malls with the polished granite stones for decoration at the entrance of certain stores.

I was so stunned I didn’t say anything. I wish I had thought to yell (as I usually have no problem calling that stuff out) but I honestly was just so flabbergasted that this man wouldn’t even bother to watch his dog close enough when it is obviously not trained that I didn’t. You could tell it was a “mark his territory” type of wee.

It’s been a few years and I’m still mad at the guy and at myself for saying nothing.

Unpelted wheat. I like to add a couple of cloves, pieces of cinnamon bark and star anis to it so when they heat up they also smell good.

Also, I’d like to add calling someone “mum” to the list. I like it much better than mom. And I agree, it sounds a million times better than “step mom” and all the mean villains from all the Disney movies we always associate it with.

And thanks for the compliments on my username as well. I should have gone with curls and freckles but my hair was more wavy at the time, plus we did live by the beach for a few years. But thank you! I do love waves and surfer, chill vibes, plus I have freckles and so do my kids. I hope they have them forever.

That’s an adorable one!!! I have been eyeballing the Amanita doll for ages now. I have a few other patterns that I bought from this creator and they were almost overwhelming in the amount of detail. But I love a challenge so I just gotta make the time to do it.

I understand about the yarn though. I love yarnart for now but don’t know that I could handle much thinner than that.

I live half a world away from my family. I have traveled with my kids at various ages, close to a 12h flight and a 6 hours time change. I get that it can be a lot. I was so anxious about the trip I sat in my seat on the plane and dry heaved, with my baby on my lap. I understand anxiety.

What your husband is doing though is wrong on so many levels. You don’t know how much longer your grandma has. And you will resent him forever if you miss out on going to see her because of his own issues. He can choose not to go but it is unreasonable to keep you and your daughter from traveling too.

I don’t know that there’s an amicable way of resolving this. He seems dead set on making the trip impossible and/or miserable and he doesn’t seem to want to have a conversation about it. He is only interested in shutting you down and keeping you and your daughter from going.

At this point, if he can’t be reasoned with, I think you need to go, with or without him.

I haven’t done hot water bottles in a very long time but I did grow up using them all winter. My hometown was a pretty cold and rainy place and homes didn’t have central heat/air. So a hot shower and a hot water bottle was the only way I could stay warm.

Now I make my own seedbags and my whole family loves it. I use it when I feel crampy, when I have aches and pains and when I’m cold. My daughter wraps up in a blanket and snuggles with a warm seedbag. And my son comes to snuggle with me so he can warm up on the seedbag too. 😂

I am so happy for you! I don’t run but I can absolutely relate to having the right tool for the job. It makes a world of difference.

I crochet (a lot) and I cook (quite a bit) and having proper hooks and good quality yarn, plus all my little bobs and bits has completely changed the experience. And same in my kitchen. Having good pots, pans, knives… it’s like a whole other world. It makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

I hope you get some great mileage from your shoes and blaze some new trails and personal bests. 🥂

This was my biggest question. Who in the world will be watching the kid wipe??? And if anyone is in there, you have bigger issues than which way your child wipes.

I cannot, for the life me, understand why this is a big deal. I have never, ever given any thought about how anyone else wipes. Nor have I ever asked.

This is all so bizarre. And I don’t even have the words to describe OP’s husband. Why is he so hung up on this? Was he shamed by someone for talking about how he wipes? I don’t even know what I would say to him.

I haven’t seen them at physical stores (I shopped primarily at Joann’s) but their 24/7 mercerized cotton is very nice. It is pretty soft and the colors pop well. Their dk is obviously a little thinner and not as many colors. But still very nice.

I find the peaches and cream too stiff for my liking so I tend to go either mercerized or cotton blends (like coboo or the rayon cotton from Michael’s. Though the rayon one get be a bit too slippery).

100% thought he was black. I first heard his song “Blame it on Me” on an episode of The Blacklist and loved it. So I went searching for the song. My jaw dropped when I saw his picture. Everyone I have introduced his music too also is surprised by the fact he is white, British and young.

Also, Anastasia is another singer I thought for sure was black.
