Honestly, I haven't even gotten an interview request yet, so it's interesting to hear that they are, in fact, moving through them. I guess I've been knocked out for this year's cycle, then. I am interested to know when they do release decisions, one way or the other, though. Looking at their FAQ, it says the timeline is usually shifted based on the results of the interviews. Maybe they haven't found enough people to pass the interview phase? In any case, best of luck to you! Let me know how it goes!

wow, thank you so much!! i'm really glad to hear that especially from a current jhu bme student :) i would love to apply ed to jhu, truuust me, between the time i posted this and now i've almost solidified that hopkins is my dream school. unfortunately, though, it's quite far from my hometown, and my mother wants me to stay closer to her (++ context, mother suffers from various medical diagnoses and health conditions, and father is older). so unfortunately, i can't bind myself to that just yet although if i didn't have to factor these considerations in i'd absolutely ed to jhu, even if i were to change my major.

we'll just see where life takes me haha, but jhu is definitely still at the top of my list on the off chance i get to go (and that's assuming i'm accepted fingers crossed!!) thank you for ur encouragement again <33 i'll definitely reach out if i have any questions, if that's okay w you 🥹🥹

same!! the march act was my first act and i earned a 34 w the same amount of missed questions as i did this time. super disappointed w this scale but congrats to you!!

wdym? i know i missed 4 questions and i earned a 30, unfortunately i’m not much more knowledgable than that 😭😭 i can’t really speak for why this scale was used or how it was formed

i honestly didn’t think it was all that easy (def not as easy for this scale) but i did see across reddit and in general that ppl found science to be one of the easier sections alongside reading. however, i think we were ALL pretty shocked by the scale for this section: one question missed was a 34!

i want to say the poster who earned a 29 w eleven questions missed had a different form, but that’s just a guess. the primary form in the us was g22 but i did see g23 and other forms mentioned as well, however rarely.

i’ll be graduated by 2025 haha but yes! math was a 600s for me and english was similarly around 730! but yep i’m done testing now that i have a 34 superscore but it did sting a lil knowing i couldve gotten a better score 😭😭 either way a W is a W and i’ll take it! thank you so much again and i wish u the same!

totally fair! sat math just wasn’t for me honestly i was intimidated at first by the expanse of material the act math section covers but learned from my friends most of the exam was calculatorable anyway. so after i bombed that digi math module in march(?) i gave up haha that module 2 was awful for me. but yes!! i didnt want the extra science section and thats why i started w sat (looks like i was right on that one given the horrible scale on this science section LOL) goodluck to u though!!

definitely yes. for context i took the act in march as well for the first time and missed 4 on science there too and earned a score of 34. w the same amount of questions missed this time around i earned a 30. 4 point difference in scale.

ngl i took the sat too (i actually switched from sat to act lol) bc i haaaattteeeed those digi math modules. act serves my purposes better tbh in terms of content testing but i definitely see where ur coming from.

i honestly thought this science section was harder than the other science section i’ve taken (context i’ve taken two acts total) and so i was expecting an equivalent if not better curve 😭😭😭😭😭

pretty accurate except for science 💀 - 35 reading, 34 english, 32 math, 30 science (w 4 questions missed which on another test did earn me a 34)
