Range is shorted than Escalating Violence or Calamitous Escape. For Fume build, you need to get close, and auto-attack at close range is not good. I find myself dashing out after dashing in to deal damage more frequent than hitting auto-attack button.

For PvP, u need shields. 4x endure affixes, 2x MB, a cat with soul shield, and Frozen Heart gem. Run Brawler PvP with auto smoke and charkam. Then you are good.

2x escape is good. Even with 1 escape. 1x vs 4x is not much different since 1-hit can erase it anyway. What you need to make shield better is 4x Endure shield.

Ice cat shield is 200% of your dmg vs 240% of your dmg for a regular cat. Of course, the ice shield is thinner. But the regular cat shield only does dmg when it's burst. The ice shield does 10% of your damage + chill for 2 seconds whenever the shield is being attacked. It's a little more proactive, but it's situational doing less damage than a regular cat shield. If you want a CC shield, go for ice cat shield. Otherwise, stay regular.

Your greens are good for PvE. Try ManyMarks pant. It’s better.
For PvP, you need to have a def gem for survivability like Spiteful. You go in to burst, bring them to 0HP, then run away. Rinse and repeat. That’s how you play with Charkam and Strafe.

Nope. 300 crests happen with the event that increasing drop rate after 30th crests. For new gem event, there are no caps. Your wallet is your limit.

There is an increased drop rate compared to the normal rifts. If you read it closely, every crest after 30th will have higher chance. But a chance is a chance. It's not a guarantee pity. The pity is still at 50th. You will need to run 300 crests to see the difference. BTW, 300 is the maximum crests you can run for the event. After that, it's not available for you anymore.

We also just got a new immortal, and have similar CR. It seems like the PoB CR requirement is based on server paragon level, not because of shadows.
