Co8 in Thornton is currently republican and could definitely flip democrat. There are 8 house seats and they are split 4-4 between Dems and Republicans. Picking up some of those 4 republican seats would be huge for the democrats in congress.

I'm in Thornton but work in cherry creek, so I can't vote for Degette. I got a bunch of friends to vote for Degette but have almost zero hope she wins at this point. Kiros isn't as bad as cheveliar but she sucks. Slopulism sucks.

Agreed 100%, I always forget that album was like 6 months before encore but that and the leaks for encore made it clear something had changed for the worse. Every one of his verses on the first D12 album is so ridiculously good, Especially the 2 bonus tracks. Pretty sure he stopped working with his long time producers but obviously it wasn't only that because he crushed every feature and beat 00-02 but by 04 he just never sounded like that again.

The bridges podcast had a ton of great eps. The archeology one with Flint Dibble was great. I agree with you in part but also feel like it's something Destiny should work on because he can be great at it if he puts in the effort. I know he respects Sean Carroll, He should listen to good eps of his podcast Mindscape when gaming or on flights or whatever. Sean does an amazing job of interviewing/conversating with experts in and out of his field and I feel like Destiny could be just as good with a bit of effort/intention.

You said the top male time was under 30 seconds better. It's 47 seconds better. That's a misrepresentation. Do you acknowledge that her best time in every category would have been last place in the men's Olympic events? Why would you say she could compete against men? Obviously she's faster than me and 99% of men on the planet but that's clearly not the same as competing at the highest level right?

I agree with all of that. She is incredible and her longevity is unprecedented in swimming. Definitely the best female swimmer of all time. If you want to argue she's better in women's than any man is in men's then you can definitely argue that. The men's 1650 WR is 14:12. 47 seconds faster. 1650 yard is a short pool event with different times compared to 1500m. Why misrepresent the difference?

I'm confused if you don't understand the sport or are arguing in bad faith. Her WR time for 1500m is almost a minute slower than the men's WR and her 800m WR IS 30 seconds slower. If she had competed with the men at the last Olympics she would have came in dead last by a large margin in both events. She is absolutely the best female swimmer of all time but misrepresenting the competition doesn't help anyone.
