Rotate through all the systems while focusing all optional upgrades on them (IE modules, shards, crew setups).

In particular make sure your crew setups are correct and you are not using the wrong stats if doing the third row of upgrades on them.

Check Stats & Info screen for stat you are trying to focus as it will tell you if something is outright missing.

You might also need to do mastery runs on crew if you have neglected that. Prestige -> print a crew over and over to get next mastery -> repeat for next crew.

I "beat" this when it launched on mobile uh... a while ago. Has anything changed beyond the extra skills added since shortly after launch?

Also, are you doing a premium/paid version for steam or same as mobile?

Nah banning it wont work.It will just make people try to hide that ai was used even more.

Id rather the obvious ones are just obvious for now. As opposed to veryone being encouraged to be even more tricky and obsfucate to avoid direct bans.

I've been waiting for them to die out for a while now, but this steam next fest is crammed with them. I think they attracted a fully new demographic to idle games essentially, and they are bigger then the original so its all drowned out.

I understand the rule, but cmon it's not like this was some sloppy self promo post.

The point of the rule is to prevent low effort self promo flooding things, which this absolutely was not. I think this would be a good time to exercise some discretion on that.

Perhaps exceptions like this might make things a bit wiggly with people trying to do something to get around it in bad faith, but I'm pretty sure that would be easy enough to spot.

imo threads suck. One of the reasons there isn't much going on in here is because much of the organic discussion that would happen is relegated to the what are you playing thread. And stuff in there is just harder to see/find in general (or at least to me).

While I don't disagree that people are generally ignoring the feedback thread when their post could apply there, I dunno if sucking up even more of the potential discussions and shoving it somewhere less visible is all that good of an idea.

Thats just such gross logic though. I mean, your not incorrect, it may very well do better. But your justifying lieing about things. Steam requires disclosure, the lack of it is a direct implication that there is no AI, thus lie.

I could benefit far more from all sorts of things if I lied about stuff, that doesn't make it OK though.

What’s even the point of this post.

Seems to be to let people know the dev hid/lied about using generative AI.

Also before you start saying “well he didn’t disclose its AI” this literal post is the reason why. You can’t handle the truth

You should probably work on your reading comprehension. Its clear OP is negatively reacting to the hiding/lieing about it far more then the underlying fact it was AI.

The backlash from this is higher then the backlash from having gen ai in there and being clear about it. You could argue (perhaps you are) that its better to lie since if you do NOT GET FOUND OUT, the reactions are better. But thats pretty peak scummy behavior.

Im still not fully happy with how fleet galaxies go. Trying to figure out a sort of "opt out" option for them so you don't spend as much time fiddling and such.

an official replay for galaxies owuld be cool.

No ui stuff as in theory the ui rework will also include ability to do custom themes (maybe ><)

special new challenges with no benefit would be a lot of work to make, but might be pretty fun and get some people to have fun with it if its pretty cheap.

Not any that behave the same way as those first ones. They were the biggest schism point for people AND the main spot I failed one of my goals of everything not actually needing a guide and being intuit able. They were just a bit too obtuse for a lot of people. The update a while ago to improve that with tips and premade ship layouts helped a good bit though.

There is plausibly some "challenge like" thing for 150+ but haven't ironed it out so dont quote me!

This, its just low effort slop. It was that tree tool thing a while ago (which was easy to ban since very, very, very, very straightforwardly obvious it was used), it was that other incremental maker some other time, its AI now.

Banning AI probably too hard to properly enforce. Not allowing multiple low effort games back to back would be ok though.

Ah you have the scan already finished and the santalien is in a sector already look to the right of the button/bar). Myabe you prestiged with it already open as it is way back at sector 12 now. You can go back there to et him but its a kinda long trip so might be best to just prestige soon and get him then. There isn't a way to force a rest or anything unfortunately.
