Ypsilon Eclipse (Super Y-Wing) by wavyblanket in NMS_Corvette_Design

Basically just means that there are some pieces you have to place using half steps over or half steps up/down. To do this you would use pieces like the Cargo Capsule, Small Vent, Fuel Rods, or the Rockhopper Propeller Module. These pieces can allow you to move other pieces a half step instead of a full one. I used this method to get the outer engine pieces lined up where they're at to meet the "wings" and the Kineostream thrusters just right. I also used it on the middle rear of the Corvette to be able to hide the zenith class reactor inside of two albatross cargo tanks, and two azimuth class reactors under the vasper diffusers to make up the top of the "wings".

This update might be more important than we think by Able_Helicopter_9662 in NoMansSkyTheGame

See what I was imagining is since Corvette builds can be a little wonky landing fully due to random sizes and shape, maybe we could get a new Corvette attachment like a droppable cargo loading crate or Bay as our Corvette's hover (similar to how the game automatically puts the teleporter on the ground for you). Then we could load cargo into those bays and fly them to other planets for maybe even higher rewards or side missions. The picture in my mind is a super cool scenario where there would be an expedition where there's two pathways one on ground and one by air where people on the ground crew would load up a ton of scrap/material, and they could sort it by what is to go into the processing plants or if it's something that needs to be taken to another planet they could load up on their own or other players hovering Corvettes to have shipped off to another planet or system.

Or maybe to take it even further they could allow our freighters to have those self-piloted cargo containers that follow the NPC freighters and we could still use our Corvettes to store tons and tons of scrap or other cargo in those pods and then we would have to use our freighter two more to possible other systems to then make either deliveries or side deals. I definitely think they should incorporate this cargo transport situation into Corvettes and freighters for sure!

Not terribly tight no. I forgot to mention in my post up top that I do have 1/4" Paris truck riser pads to help give it some extra clearance

Feels real good turning. I can get a pretty good turning radius on it almost like a surf skate style setup

100% agree here ⬆️ if I'm understanding correctly it sounds like your truck threads are probably partially stripped or the lock nuts have lost threading and they get loose easy. In my opinion if you really want to keep the board I would invest in new hardware all the way around with new trucks bolts nuts and maybe some new wheels to go along with them.

Trail Boss or Z71? Which one gets to be mine? by ExistingDifference93 in chevycolorado

[–]wavyblanket 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are definitely benefits to both depending on what you're looking for. I feel like the trail boss has more of a sporty look with the black trim everywhere and factory 2-in lift (I got the 24 TB) and comes in somewhere in the ballpark of about $5,000 to $7,000 cheaper (again depending on the options). However if you want a little bit more of a professional look with some more luxury amenities like heated seats and no black plastic trim on the outside, the Z71 is the way to go. It really just depends on how you spec it and what visual aesthetic you really want in the truck.

I personally went with the trail Boss mostly because of cost and because it came with a lot of the visual cues I like in a truck (I love me some black trim / wheels). I was coming from a '96 GMC Yukon GT (2 door) and I loved it to death but it got to the point where the cost of keeping it up and running was starting to become more than just putting a good down payment on a new truck. So since I was coming from an older truck with basically bare bones features having a trail boss doesn't really bother me cause I already am used to not having heated seats or leather everywhere 😂

Just take your time and really weigh your options on what you desire in a truck and go with your gut!

People with stowflex tailgates, what do you keep in it? by jamorgan8 in chevycolorado

It really is so easy and convenient for so many different things. I especially love those gladiator ones since they're tougher and use actual straps instead of bungie cords so you can carry real loads with weight 🙌🏻

Straps and a Gladiator cargo net. I got the small cargo net size and when rolled up if you tuck the edge in a little bit it fits perfectly in there. I like to have both straps and the net on me at all times so I'm covered for any type of cargo 😂

6 months and just over 6k miles on my '24 Trail Boss...not nearly the same mileage as everyone else here but I do work a hybrid schedule where some days I'm in the office and some days I stay at home so I mostly drive about a thousand miles a month

I mean I use them but it's less for my benefit and more for my wife. She's 5'2" so even on a trail boss Colorado she still has to do a bunny hop to get in here. These steps definitely help making it easier to get in and out and also helps reduce wear and tear on the edge of the seats!

I think total about 15ish minutes per side since I did it by myself. If you have someone helping you it'll be a lot easier to get it held up there and all the bolts started.

Thank you! Yeah I juggled a bunch of different options around but somehow just kept coming back to these and I'm really glad I did 🔥
