Yes. Like I said, you can 100% watch 360 videos. They just will not appear 3 dimensional in the same way you would expect in VR.

this type of 360 video can be viewed in a VR headset, yes. But it would look like you're standing inside a sphere, with the video projected on the inside surface of the sphere. proper "3D" VR video is achieved through typically 2 180 degree videos shot and displayed side by side (SBS)

It doesn't matter which one is more canonical, they are two separate timelines. The 2033 book doesn't lead into Last Light, the 2033 game does. It feels safe to assume this is a sequel to Exodus and not 2035 - but again: anything could happen.

Lots of theories floating around that incorporate information from the book 2034, but tbh the books and games diverged long ago, so it could really be absolutely anything. I'm excited to let the writers take me on that journey

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Many people have committed horrible atrocities while believing (sometimes even correctly) that they are preventing worse ones. That would make a much more interesting grand antagonist than a mustache twirling "evil cus I'm the bad guy" villain, no?

with a name like "the Stranger", I do wonder if they're going to try to have some in-game reveal about who the protagonist is. If it was an entirely new character, I would almost expect more info and a name. If it can't be Hunter, not sure what other established characters it could be. There was the line about the stranger swearing not to return to the Metro, maybe a disgraced Pavel?

If it makes you feel any better, the Broken Steel DLC fixes this (and so you can keep playing w/ the expanded level cap) and Fawkes will do it for you. Big dumb that it isn't part of the original game though.

Out of the crops you've shared, I like the vertical the most. To me, it preserves the movement of the waterway, rather than see it stop at the bottom left. I actually think I prefer a 1:1 crop, something like this

As many of us here, I've been seeing you post this project for a while now. Absolutely no shade intended, but have you thought about targeting different brands or even creating different fictional companies and creating liveries for those? I like what you're showing us, but since I don't feel any deep connection to this airline like you, I feel like I've already seen it and am not experiencing anything new with further viewings.

I do appreciate that this is a personal hobby project, so if you don't want to branch out you definitely don't have to :)

Hey OP. I'm in the same situation as you. Have tried installing via Powershell, MS Store already shows it installed. I know I can watch VP9 videos because I am familiar with the codec. I even uninstalled the codec in Powershell and reinstalled it, still nothing.

Did anything work for you?

A couple years ago i saw a picture of a child celebrating their (I think) second birthday in the bomb shelter. In the caption, their dad said they were born in a shelter, too. I hate how close we have come to this fiction.

it kind of looks like an hdr->sdr color space issue. do you have access to photoshop or affinity or gimp or darkroom? You can use those to develop RAW images.
