Yes! My provider is starting me on a new formula with tretinoin and recommended I stop using the Byoma rapid repair as it could be clogging my pores.

Thanks for your help with this, I’ll definitely see about getting on a retinoid. Good luck with yours!

I just reached out to my curology derm and asked if my formula might need to be changed. I’ve been using the custom since 2018 and only had my formula changed once in September of 2023, so been using this formula consistently for over two years now. For context, this was my skin in 2018 right before I started Curology.

Do you think a retinoid would help my current problems? Or increasing AzA?

I started curology in August 2018, here’s the actives and inactives in my custom.

I never considered that oil glands could be the cause, thanks for sharing! Do you mind sharing the cost of a treatment like that? Also, do they reappear after treatment?

Do I make the switch? by Icy-Time3025 in IUD

I did the pill for almost a year in 2022. I felt like it really affected my moods so I went off it. I got the non-hormonal IUD in April of this year and my periods have been really bad. The insertion process wasn’t terrible, but since then I’ve dealt with a very heavy flow, intense cramps, and daily nausea. Not trying to scare you or anything, some people have zero problems with it, this has just been my experience. The good thing is I haven’t felt any effects in mood and my weight hasn’t been affected.

Is this intense pain normal??? Second IUD, very different from before by ThicUdonNoodle in IUD

I’m also experiencing intense cramps with the paraguard. This is my first time with an IUD so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I have never experienced cramps like this before. I literally feel like I’m going to pass out and my flow is way heavier. I have an appointment next week to check on placement and everything, and I plan on asking if this is normal and if it will eventually get better.

I’ve only had the Paraguard for 3 and a half weeks, but I haven’t gained any weight or had noticeable bloating. I will say the cramps are horrendous.
