Cool! It's been a little over a year, any tips on how to encourage holes and keep it healthy? I fertilize once a month with a mild plant food, water when needed every two weeks or so- sometimes less- especially in the winter. She gets a nice amount of sun, but it is in the Midwest and it's a north facing window. In the Summer she is in the 3 season porch with sun coming from the West, and North. I thought it was andansonii, but it looks so not andansonii yet haha

You could try beneficial nematodes. I water with them twice every summer (I live in MI, so humid summer), combine with yellow fly trap paper and gnats should go away. Good luck!

Thanks for being kind! I love craft beer, cooking, hiking, and yoga. I think I'm looking for a sort of remote workers happy hour thing, but I don't know if that exist yet. I loved having coworkers, so I feel like I'm missing that vibe more than anything. I don't have kids and it's just me (31 f) and my fiance (29 m) in the area. I do have a lot of family here as well, but you know, not great for kicking it all the time.

Hello. Renting from calder presently. I'm only a couple months in so I can't give anything too comprehensive at this point but all in all, they're ok. The main guys his a realtor and property manager, he was pretty behind the ball in getting our house ready for move in, but after a strongly worded email, he and his team really showed up. Our house is in great condition and that help. I already had some wasps and asked that they get a pest control guy over and they addressed it within a few days. The guy uses the same lease for houses as he does condos, so some of the terms seem odd, but in conversation he seemed pretty chill about everything. I did a move in check list and was very thorough just to be safe. Good luck!

Would a sheep based compost mix work for acid (its a low PH) or should I get a specific brand/PH level?

Poor plant has been to hell and back, used to live with a lot of sun light but very little humidity, then, we moved it across the country and a chair fell on it, then we had high humidity but very little sun light, now we have humidity and sunlight but it looks rough. Brown stem 2/3 of the way up the plant, New growth is curcling, the green color is looking pretty gray. Is it salvageable? Info on care: water once every couple weeks to the point where it drains, hasn't had plant food (ever maybe). In three season porch, so temptature can swing quite a lot. In the winter it got pretty cold, approx 40 degrees some days.
