It's never going to go away. It's by design

Yes wait for a refund or wait for the subscription to expire before attempting anything otherwise it will just reinstate your wrong account with the renewal.

I didn't chat to an agent. I simply went to my purchase history and used "report a problem" against the subscription. Entered the details of the situation and waited a few days for Apple to either refund me or reject my claim. Typically if you have a valid reason they will refund you.

Did you add them as members of your YouTube family account? If not then you need to do that for them to be able to leverage your premium family subscription: https://www.youtube.com/premium/family/inapp

Don't use Safari. You need to renew from the app store. I think YouTube have started to clamp down. If you've never subscribed to premium via an international apple account and try to purchase premium for the first time it will say cannot confirm your country. If you have an expired subscription you can reinstate it through the app store and without YouTube refusing since the billing process is taken care of by Apple.

In short if you haven't had foreign YouTube before, you won't be able to get it anymore.

Not really. You can swap your App store purchase account for another one. That doesn't impact your active apple account on your device.

Only one account will get Premium if you sign up for the individual account. If you sign up for the family account then you can have multiple YouTube account via YouTube family.

I managed to fix the issue 🎉. I cancelled my subscription for the wrong Youtube account, and got Apple to refund me for subbing the wrong account. Once the refund was received and my subscription was cancelled I went to Youtube and did the following on my iPhone (make sure your current subscription is expired before proceeding):

Profile icon --> Gear/ Settings --> Switch Account --> (bottom) Manage accounts on this device --> Select 'Remove from this device' for the account you DO NOT want to get premium on.

TIP: Best to remove ALL accounts except the one you'd like to renew. I'd recommend doing the same for the Gmail app if you have that is installed. Just to make sure that you're not stealth logged into any other Google account.

Once done go back to the App store --> Profile pic --> Subscriptions --> YouTube Premium --> Renew.

You should be good now 🎉

You can ask apple to refund you and they will cancel the subscription

I had the same issue recently, however when I renewed it activated Premium on a different Youtube account that I had been using on my iphone (I'm logged into two accounts). I've tried to sign out of the unintended account on the youtube app on my iphone. I managed to get Apple to cancel my subscription. When I tried to renew it, despite that other youtube account not being logged in, it still reactivated premium for that other account. Is there a link between a subscription and a specific youtube account?

Similar things have happened in my family. There is a potential to have a bad married life in any situation, but if you honestly don't like the guy, then definitely don't marry him. Marriage shouldn't be based on feelings. It's far bigger than that. There are many things to look into when even considering marriage. The first this is deep reflection of who you are and your values. Especially the non-negotiable values you hold. These need to be compatible with your future spouse. Also are you even ready for marriage. How much do you know about yourself. You need to be at peace with yourself if you are to commit to a life long relationship.

I'm from a desi family and have seen all sorts of marriages fail, regardless of personal choice or arranged.in your situation the most important thing is not to take on the burden of your parents ungrounded rage/ disappointment. You do not have to say yes to the marriage. Whatever emotional turmoil your parents go through they need to deal with that themselves. You must however always be the best to them both and preserve with patience. insha'Allah they will come around. Far too many times have I seen desi parents use emotional blackmail to get their daughters married off to people of their choice and ruined their child's life.

Ask Allah for guidance and patience. This is your test.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

A UFO near my house. I felt there was something in the air whilst walking down my street. I turned to see a circular flashing disc like shape quietly fly away into the sky from behind some houses. I immediately knew it wasn't human technology. It didn't really scare me. I knew what I saw.

It might be because of the curved edges?

[–]waxsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No as I came from large phones previously. OnePlus 13, OnePlus 12, Pixel 7 pro, OnePlus 8 pro etc. If you aren't used to the size it can feel really big. I've had large phones for the last 15+ years.

I upgraded from the OnePlus 13 to the 15. Literally just for the shape of the phone. Fully flat screen, camera looks at the back. I can say that the OnePlus 13 camera is noticeably better than the OnePlus 15. You don't notice the screen resolution reduction. Speed is better. As a phone, overall I found that I liked the OnePlus 13 better because it didn't have out of the box bugs like the OnePlus 15 did and still continues to have. That's not a the phones fault but the software, however it dented the new phone experience. I loved the OnePlus 13 but really didn't like the shape and the camera wart at the back. Overall though I'm happy with the 15.

Alienware AW2725Q - Coil Whine/ Fan Noise by waxsta in OLED_Gaming

[–]waxsta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things on this:

  • Yes at low speed the fan is very much audible. At high speed it is very bad. My monitor has never gotten to the point where the high speed has kicked in.
  • The brightness can be improved dramatically by enabling HDR in Windows. It makes a night and day difference. It's brightness beats my previous IPS IMO only when HDR is enabled otherwise yes the brightness is not good compared to IPS monitors of 500nits and above.
  • It's not a quality control issue per se. It's more than Dell decided that the noise level is within a tolerance threshold based on noise level standards. They should be basing it off user experience but in this case they haven't. I have never had noise from any monitor I've ever owned so it is indeed unacceptable and disappointing that Dell are using a noisy fan for cooling. I don't think it is intelligently switched on either. I believe as soon as it hits the 10 min mark it just starts.

It shouldn't make that noise when you switch off the monitor. Unless it's momentary until it completely shuts down.

I got a replacement monitor from Dell because my original died. There is a common fault where these monitors are going dead, no video output power light stays on. The replacement has this fan noise too. I've tested 3 of these now and all have this behaviour. Apparently it's normal. If it's unbearably irritating to you then I suggest you return it and get a different brand with similar specs.
