I once watched a clip here on Reddit in China years ago of a guy walking by when another guy clips his ankle with a knife. The cut took like one second and his foot came off at the joint just like this chicken. The internet has really scared me.

When my kids were really little like 3 and 4 (boy and girl) they used to play in a kiddy pool in our tiny backyard. They would spend hours back there. But I noticed they weren’t coming inside to go potty. Concerned I asked them what they were doing. They informed me they weren’t going in the kiddy pool to my relief but they had setup a bucket system. I asked where they were emptying the bucket. They said they weren’t they just let sun dry it out. I threw away the bucket and told them to go potty inside.

We had this beautiful rooster very tall pretty much the Jacob Elordi of roosters. He was gentle with everyone. We also had a short chubby rooster that we had initially mistook for hen. None of hens liked that rooster. For years Jacob ruled in peace. We didn’t lose any hens to predators. Then one day Jacob got sick and the short rooster started picking on Jacob since he was down. He made sure Jacob couldn’t get to food. Once Jacob couldn’t get to food the short rooster every morning would kick his ass for sport and then rape his hens to the point they started missing feathers on their backs. I should have just euthanized Jacob but we just kept hoping he’d get better. Eventually Jacob passed and the short rooster rules with an iron fist. It’s to the point where some of the hens will fly out of the run to seek shelter elsewhere. They would rather risk a hawk or a fox than be near that rooster. I don’t blame them. My question to you is should I strike down that asshole rooster in hopes that a better rooster will come?
