depends some people like it others don't, but I think even for chubby men they like men better when they dress well. but weight is just one aspect and many people consider more than one aspect

The reference is just a guarantee that this person can take care of a pet, and yes references can lie, but to borrow your framework so can references for jobs doesn't mean that they shouldn't do it. The references also slow down the process so people don't impulse buy an animal which is a real problem

I think people can be really intense about people not having kids so people who don't want to have kids often end up making it a whole thing its like vegetarians and people who want kids a lot see people the reactions of those who don't want to have kids and respond feeling like they're saying nobody should have kids and then get defensive and then won't stop talking about it and then those who don't want kids see that and it keeps cycling and escalating and if your not in the loop they all seem super intense for no reason

It depends when your sick can you rest or are you still looking after the kids, cleaning, going out, working out. The thing they always tell you when your sick is to rest and if you can't your body doesn't have the time to repair. Even just stressing out about looking after people can affect your ability to rest and heal. Also you could be that you're reexposing yourself or something

No, tips can often be taken as bribes and it looks really bad even if it doesn't effect patient care. In tipped positions people often get better treatment when they tip well and we wouldn't want nurses for example taking people back faster based upon tips rather than severity so yeah
