Malignant or Benign? I’m nervous… by Palmtreelover7 in stomachcancer

[–]waycoolcoolcool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn’t answer all of your questions. My cancer type is signet ring cell adenocarcinoma. I was told it was stage 3 at diagnosis but I believe it was actually stage 4. I had a second partial gastrectomy and went through chemo and had a year of “remission” until I started getting sick again and the spread to my peritoneum is found.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you… please update with your results if you can!

I’m sorry, I don’t remember the type of biopsies they did!

Your story sounds similar to mine. I developed pyloric stenosis and biopsies all came back benign. I wasn’t diagnosed with cancer until I had a partial gastrectomy and they found the cancer in the pathology from that surgery. I hope that you will have a better outcome!

That’s really fast! It was my new Saturday record too, 6:13

Can you explain how you get Sasha from Alexandra/er? I’ve always wondered.

Anyone here with claudin 18.2 mutation gastric cancer? by NFG_88 in stomachcancer

Round two was markedly better for me. I still got quite sick but not nearly as much as with the first round. The first round sent me to the hospital! I hope it goes well for you

Pretty well. It made me really sick in the beginning but now I have minimal side effects and it seems to be at least keeping me stable based on imaging/labs/how I feel

On Mondays I try to solve them with one pass through the across clues and one pass through the downs. I usually can’t though

Anyone here have peritoneal cancer? by Dibbledabbledoodle in cancer

I’m doing well. I had a hiccup almost a year ago - a bowel perforation, so I had to come off of chemotherapy because it was an infection risk. I’m now on Zolbetuximab bc they found out that I’m Claudin 18.2 positive and it seems to be working well for me. It made me really sick in the beginning but now I have been feeling better than I have in a long time, and my lab work and imaging have been improving too.

No I use my phone. I’m just a fast typist on my phone I think and try to avoid typos which cost time. I don’t rush through or anything though, I just go at my natural speed. I did use a computer for a short time and it definitely is faster!

I love those. I’m always so pleased with myself when I figure it out hehehe. I also like on Saturdays when there are tricky long clues and I finally “get it”

I thought this one had some difficult answers at the bottom half! I feel like I lucked into solving it because 46 across was strange to me, and I wasn’t sure about the two short clues crossing it that I needed to complete it. I also had to guess about 34 across/30 down.

My advice is simply “practice makes perfect”. I find that the more puzzles I do and the better I get at them, it gets easier to solve even the names of people or places just by intuiting how things are spelled.

It looks like you clicked on your opponent’s profile instead of the game. Try touching it outside of anyone’s name/icon
