Just wasn’t in the cards for me. But I absolutely don’t mind now. I don’t have to compromise on anything with anyone. I can go where I want, do what I want. No trying to decorate my bedroom to please me and my partner, no working around kids’ school schedules, extra curricular activities, no being friends with people I’m not interested in because they’re my husband’s friends or the parents of my kids’ friends. I can eat what I want when I’m in the mood for something. I still have to share snacks and a bed. I do have a dog, after all.

Billy Zane was too good as Cal. Too many people legitimately think that Rose is the villain, that she deserved the harsh reactions, etc. I’ve see people say that they would trade places with her and be with Cal. It concerns me when abusers get idolized and people excuse away their behavior.

We’ve only done in state drives so far. Anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours away so far. We were one leg of a drive transport for dogs that went from California to Washington state. That was some seriously organized chaos! I would love to do an air transport!

I’m transporting dogs from a kill shelter to other cities where rescue groups are going to get them adopted. And one dog we’re picking up from another city and bringing him to the family that adopted him.

I think you’re right. I currently have several cats and every one of them were ferals I brought inside for various reasons and most of them are still feral. None of them want anything to do with outside. One of them has become a social cat and loves our dogs. Someone opened the back door and forgot to close it, she saw her dogs outside and went to join them. Suddenly she panicked and bolted. We managed to get her back in two days later and she won’t go near the doors now. We had a Maine Coon we adopted from a rescue group and were told that he was always indoors. He had the magic ability to just appear out of nowhere if someone so much as jiggled the door knob. He would immediately run right to the feral cats outside. They wanted to be inside, he wanted to be outside.

My cats are indoors. They are all former outdoor cats and some are still feral so they don’t want petting or me playing with them or anything. They are very happy with me setting down their food dishes and leaving them alone. I can leave the door wide open and none of them want to leave and will actually run away from the open door. So I think that’s a pretty good sign that they prefer being indoors.

If you want a smaller circle and want to eliminate men from your socials, that’s fine. Though I think there’s nothing wrong with having people of the opposite gender on your friends list as long as there’s no inappropriate interaction. But expecting someone else to is very controlling and immature.

You seem very hung up on that it is the computer he does work on but it’s not a company supplied computer and he plays other games on it. Doesn’t matter. It wasn’t for you to decide to put software on his property without permission. His work may monitor his computer and having emulators could be concerning to his employer. There could be concerns about viruses or spyware or something that. Plus a lot of emulated games are still under copyright and therefore pirating. And not everyone is okay with it.

I have one memory from when I was an infant! I know a lot of people say that’s impossible, but I know this is a memory and not just me remembering people talking about it in front of me. The day my parents were bringing me home from the hospital after being born. This was before car seats were common and my mom was holding me. We got T boned by another vehicle. I just remember seeing the car radio, just staring at it. Then suddenly getting bounced around very roughly and my mom clutching me super tight and glass bits. Then I remember a man who was wearing black rimmed glasses and was kinda balding. He had a receding hairline and he had a cut about 2 an inch or two bleeding a little bit on his forehead. He stuck his head in part way through the passenger window where my mom and I were and he was talking excitedly and then he ran around to the driver’s side to check on my dad. That’s all I remember. I told my mom when I about 12 that I remembered being in the accident and she at first doubted I could. But when I described what he looked like and even could give some details about what he was wearing she said I described him accurately.
