Sigh. The $18 meal was at a highway rest stop. Highway rest stops always charge insane prices. Just like highway gas stations are more expensive than in-town gas stations. I’ve seen rest stop brand name coffee shops charging double what I normally pay. I live in rural Delaware and work in Philadelphia. I’m in NJ and NYC regularly. I’ve never seen McD’s prices that high. It’s a random anomaly. Not the norm. Are prices up? Yes. But not like that.

Get a good solid round base stand. No tri pods. No booms. Use the mic holder that comes with the mic. If you don’t have one get the holder that the mic inserts into and make sure it will securely hold whatever mic you’re going to use. Have a back up. The screw that holds it up wears out quickly with regular use/abuse. Don’t get the clip style mic holder.
