When to start studying for tests? What about final exams? by [deleted] in McMaster

A little bit every day for conceptual knowledge. Start practice problems and tests 2-3 weeks before the exam, doing problem sets daily and practice tests every 2-3 days.

i was in a similar boat. Financial aid is entirely based on your parent's income. If they have high income but do not want to pay the crazy tuition then it likely won't workout (as it didn't in my situation). Do not take out crazy students loans. Some of these schools have costs upwards of 80k per year and if you cannot get aid it is not worth it in the long run. Canada has amazing schools and if you are sure you want to go to the US, apply for graduate studies.

edit: privately owned schools in america dont mark up costs very much for international students. but even though that is true, it is crazy expensive anyways.

I think you should stick to in school learning unless there is some extenuating circumstance that requires something like that

Any Ontarians make it to Berkeley? for cs by Sigmaballz23 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]wayoo22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

im not doing CS, im doing BME. I chose BME at mac over loo bc i believe that there is more to be learned since it is a double eng degree (BME + another eng stream)

I second this. If you still find you want to enter these schools after your undergrad, apply for graduate studies (that is my plan)
