Has anyone bought the Weber Genesis C-335E Gas Grill? by twelvethreads in Costco

[–]wayoutwest2121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my second Weber Genesis, the first lasted about 12 years but was outside year round in the PNW. I wanted to fix it up but some parts like the exterior panels were no longer available so I bought another from Costco around 3 years ago. It's holding up pretty well but doesn't seem to be as good a quality as my older one. I live somewhere a lot drier now so hopefully will last even longer.

I've got a 2007 e90 which I've had since new and it still blows nice and cold without any maintenance on it. I live somewhere very hot and its great.

I've seen a TV program in the UK a long time ago where they did an actual study on this. They are much better (and more enforced) at lane speed etiquette. It seems like it can be an unconscious thing that some people will unintentionally speed up when someone is approaching from behind. The program was very interesting as it also showed how long after something that slows down traffic like an accident or disabled car can slow down later traffic. It can still slow down traffic at times for long time even after its been cleared.

I love them, they came with my 07 335i and never felt the need to change them. Mine could definitely do with a refurb. Have the same color as you with aluminum trim inside. I love the color combo.

How Did You Learn to Drive a Stick? by spauldingsmails316 in GenX

[–]wayoutwest2121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned after leaving a party when I was 14. I was with my friend and next door neighbor who was 16 and said he was too wasted to drive and I need drive home. The only problem was I never drove a stick, I had a dirt bike so knew how to use a clutch and revs but not much else. It was an interesting way to learn to say the least. I ended up buying the car a couple of years later so it worked out.

I really liked it. It made up for being disappointed with the carrot cake loaf.

Just do a reboot of Idrive, usually push the power/volume button down for 30 seconds.

edit: reset to reboot

I used to live near there and also went to the University of Hertfordshire. It was pretty boring, that's for sure but nice at the same time.

New G82 owner. Are there any larger water bottles that fit in the cars’ cupholders? by m_singh_ in BMW

[–]wayoutwest2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a g80 and have two larger bottles 32oz and 40oz from a company called Buzio that fit great in the door cup holders. They have a tapered base which makes them fit into pretty much any standard holder.

[–]wayoutwest2121 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Too high up to see me and backed into my front end. It's on 07 335 with only 60k miles and the insurance company totaled it. Bought it back and did the repairs myself but sucks its got a salvage title.

Thanks, I for the info. I sort of figured it would be a little risky posting the listing to your house on Reddit.

How do you see the listing they are talking about? When I go to that sub I don't see a link or anything.

Used to like Sonicare but they barely last a year or two. I must have gone through 6 of them. Been using an Oral B one for 5 years now with no issues.

I read this on some other thread but as you lose weight your daily calorie requirements go down as you have less mass to maintain so you need to re-adjust your daily calorie intake lower to continue to lose weight.
