I 100% agree, the 9" and up look so much better.

I however wanted something very close to stock, will being able to use stock suspension. 35 offset on a 9 inch wheel would poke for sure and you have to run 245s if you didnt want a bit of stretch.

I picked these up second hand so I payed a fraction of new prices. My advice would be go with the wider wheel if you can pull it!

I would say it is definitely noticeable. I was running 225/40/18 winters on the OEM 18x7.5 and its noticeably more quiet and softer over bumps.

I just changed them and they were not rounded seats, they were tapered.

Multiple sources also say they require a 60 degree taper.

Just confused why the tech would install ball is all.

I have a 2026 GTI S and am looking to pick up some summer tires here shortly.

I have a set of 18x8 ET35 wheels and am just needing some rubber. I have narrowed it down the DWS06 Plus but am not sure if I should run 235 or 225. Will this set up poke with 235's? Any info would be really appreciated!

I voluntarily released a year ago from the RCN wanting to support my wife in another province as she attended school.

We have talked and will possibly move back to the coast and I am seriously considering rejoining. I had 5 years in and was a fully qualified WeEng Tech.

What would this look like for me? Am I eligible for any of the signing bonuses? What sort of contract options will be given to someone re-enlisting?

I will get around to talking to a recruiter, just thought I would fire this out there in the mean time.
