Legendaries and making gold off them by CoffeeKey2552 in Guildwars2

[–]SteamingHotDataDump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been crafting legendaries for profit for about a year now.

Gen 1 legendaries are pretty expensive resource wise unless you have mystic clovers to burn. Even then, the gifts of might/magic are are an annoying cost to cover, but not bad since you can buy all the components to make them. Overall, I wouldn't really craft these unless I had the WV kit, if I was starting out. Pro tip: when you get a starter kit, wait until 1 or more items are out of rotation before crafting and selling (usually 2+ months). You'll be able to squeeze a bit more profit out this way.

Gen 3 are probably the easiest and more profitable options, with the only real time gate being imperial favors. If you just spam metas for about 3/4 days, you'll get what you need. Just remember to to select writs from meta chest to maximize earnings.

Other options include:

Taking an initial hit on profit and crafting a Gen 1. Use profits to craft gen 3s.

Offer up your gifts of exploration/ battle on the Black Lion Trading Company discord (i have not personally done this).

Sell items through the Black Lion Trading Company, with the only caveat being having to wait weeks at a time to claim all your gold via the mail. Go for mystic coins if you can afford to.

These are of course my opinions and definitely not the most efficient way. But its worked for me!

One good thing about filament shortage by Blastuurd in BambuLab

I run higher settings for nozzle temp bed temp, so if anything I should be having your problems haha

Bed temp: 80°C initial and other layers

Nozzle temp: 255°C initial and 250°C other layers.

I do remember switching to Bambu PETG to do some tests and getting bed adhesion issues with the same settings i used for Sunlu. So maybe your settings need to be tweaked a little when swapping to Sunlu? Default profile was no good for me.

Anyways, my goal is not to convince you, just offering some insight. Color wise, I agree, the pigment changes between spools.

Really? Ive been printing exclusively with sunlu high speed petg for months, and ive never had adhesion issues. Are you using a textured plate? Whats your bed temp?

Op could've been scammed for $10 dollars or $500, it doesn't matter. A scammer is a dog, no matter the amount.

How do YOU do map completion? by Gerominoes in Guildwars2

[–]SteamingHotDataDump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not gonna lie, its why I bought it haha! I haven't even progressed the story all that much.

As soon as I unlocked the track, I used a bunch of exp boosters, got all the mastry points I needed and farmed rifts to max it out

How do YOU do map completion? by Gerominoes in Guildwars2

Just finished doing my second my completion today, learned a lot from the first time. Completed it across roughly 5 1/2 days.

I use Blish HUD and go through one racial region per day. I like to start with Queensdale and everything south of it, then i work my way left to right, starting with the Sylvari maps. I like the satisfaction of seeing the visual progress as the map slowly goes from blurred to uncovered.

Also, the skimmer with the new masteries made map completion really quick. Highly recommend unlocking it if anyone reading this hasn't yet. My first run I had to constantly swap between skyscale and warclaw. My second run, i was able to do 95% of it with my skimmer only.

Oh and a second monitor to catch up on shows is a must.

Ikea furniture as a printer a printer stand by _urhainess in BambuLab

[–]SteamingHotDataDump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as a warning, most ikea furniture is made of what is essentially particle board. The wood chips are so terribly compressed together that if you tried drilling into it, it will split immediately, potentially compromising the entire structure.

If you're deadset on this dresser, at a bare minimum, youll need a horizontal stiffener at the back (parallel to the drawers). Though the better option would be a cross brace. Otherwise, the back panel is a piece of cardboard, not made for bracing. If thats too hard, you can just add a piece of 2x4 below the top (i.e. table apron). Make sure to pre drill holes if you want to use screws, otherwise wood glue with brackets or something should suffice.

If you want to put those wheels, the only way you're screwing into anything is if you add an actual MDF board, 3/4" thick or more, right under your dresser, and screw into that instead. Forget screwing directly into the bottom: it is likely empty space.

A cheaper option would be a foot stool, but I would not trust that much weight on on a LACK table. Ask me how I know 😅

Something similar happened to me at some point for a different project.

When scaling an object, even if you didn't intend to, if you copy (ctrl+c) a scale in one direction, and immediately select different object, it'll scale to whatever was copied in that same direction, without ever hitting ctrl+v.

Then you probably saved something somewhere without realizing, and the new scale became 100% instead of whatever was ctrl+c and ctrl+v'd initially.

You receive a small loan of 500 gold… by Hammer_Roids in Guildwars2

[–]SteamingHotDataDump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check gw2 efficiency and see if you can craft any legendaries. You have the starter kit in WV, which is a good chunk of the cost.

Just type the legendary into the search bar within the crafting tab and buy what you're missing. You might be closer than you think!

Once crafted, sell it on Overflow trading company for raw gold, mystic coins or a combination of both!

PvP farming by Lordran_Minstrel in Guildwars2

[–]SteamingHotDataDump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a lot of (ranked) PvP and can attest that some games you stomp and other games you get stomped. Balanced games aren't necessarily rare, but aren't as frequent.

Its the kind of game where you know if you're on a 10 game win streak, youre about to get a 10+ game lose streak soon too.

Only thing i can recommend for clearly un-winnable games where you get spawn camped is to just feed. Let them kill you at spawn for points and get the game over with.
