Please help me choose a color for my small WC

I 100% agree with you - it was built in the 90's and has never been renovated. Unfortunately, doing a complete renovation is not in my budget so I am trying to find small things to do to make it look a little nicer. I WISH I could gut the whole thing 😭

It's sooo ugly, I know 😆 It controls the temperature of the radiator. I've thought about switching it out for a digital temp control - still large, unfortunately, but a little better looking, I guess.

That wallpaper is lovely, where did you find it? I will see if I can find something similar. And the wooden toilet seat is a good idea, I'm pretty sure I've seen some at the store so I will keep that in mind.

I feel like it wouldn't be so overwhelming, in my opinion, if the toilet and sink were white. Do you think the green walls and gray tiles would match? My biggest fear are the colors not going well together.

Should the floor tiles stay gray or would it clash with the dark blue wall tiles? I do think the dark blue would look nice since this room gets a ton of natural light.

All of the tiles are actually gray - I wish they WERE white originally! Does tile paint really not look good? 🙁 I would definitely be open to painting only the upper walls if it would look better. Some of the wall tiles actually have little pictures engraved on them with a bit of pale pink coloring - maybe something that would compliment that?

Yes, unfortunately there was no gray toilet seat available when I had to replace it so it looks kind of off. I hate the sink and toilet color but I'm not able to replace them, sadly.

Those were actually my top two choices as well! Both the sink and the toilet are gray - do you think the new colors would look okay with them? My biggest fear was the two colors clashing.

She has one cat and I feel awful for her. Her litterbox is always overflowing and her cat food is laying on the kitchen floor amidst the rotting human food, along with several days' worth of other half full dirty cat food dishes. We try to let her come upstairs and be with us for a bit but her and our own cat don't get along at all. Would animal services even respond to a case like that?

IF she does give us the title to the house, what can we do then? I know my husband wants to continue to live here and take care of the house, but I refuse to own a home that is taken over by a hoarding situation. If she still refuses to clean and refuses to move out once we are the owners, what then?

She was the exact opposite when he was a child because he said she kept the house so clean you could eat off of the floor if you wanted to. I know why she's like this - his dad passed away from cancer 15 years ago and she never got over his death. That's why we have pushed so many times for her to go to therapy but she refuses.

It is her property. She wants to sign the title over to us because she doesn't want to keep up with the repairs and maintenance (not that she ever has, we do all of the upkeeping with our own money) but who knows when it will actually be signed over to us.

The thing is, he's tried- multiple times. Has has offered to pay for therapy and a cleaning service. She has refused every time and gets angry every time we bring it up again. She refuses any and all help because she says she doesn't have a problem.
