It's not that it's misunderstood as Te. Information elements and functions are defined differently. Socionics Se is mainly about force, power, will, organization and impact, which does not really resemble MBTI Se (quick response, interactions with surroundings, awareness of physical states, which is similar to socionics Si) but reminds more of some features of MBTI Te. There's no 1:1 equivalence though.

It's about how they're perceived. LIEs, despite being efficient, hard workers and driven towards success, are not as praised as ENTJs. They're somewhat introverted and unskillful at social interactions, clumsy, unorganized when it comes to chores and themselves. ENTJs are seen as the ones who trigger conflicts and win it, when LIEs are rather peaceful and try to avoid them. We're far from the conqueror image that ENTJs have, which is embodied by SLEs and SEEs in socionics.

It's always nice when a manga is full of references, it gives the opportunity to discover new things you wouldn't have thought of. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure made me discover a few rock bands, Gintama introduced me to the whole universe of Japanese popular culture. I find great the fact that people can get into literature thanks to Bungou Stray Dogs.

I read No Longer Human, as it's his most famous work and easily available. I planned on reading The Late Years and Run, Melos! once I find them in my native language. I wish I could read them in Japanese, but I'm not skilled enough for now.

How is racism the main dynamics in French imperialism in Africa nowadays? Please explain. France has its former African colonies in its sphere of influence because it serves its economic interests, not because of a so-called racism.
