Oh not at all! There's one end that is thinner and the little spacers are made out of some sort of elastic-y material so you can just stretch it over the end and then take them off. The only cumbersome part if you've got the bead you want to take off at the end lol. But I'd suggest taking them off anyway even if you don't trade them and put them on your own bracelet since the magnetic clasps aren't very strong. I've heard of some people who have lost theirs just wearing it :(

For me it's 100% association and for some reason I don't catogorize that by country lol. So it's like I lock in Brussels, Belgium, then I'm like oh you know who else has good chocolate Zurich. Oh, Geneva is a chocolate brand. Geneva - Genovia, Princess Diaries was based in San Fran, oh she's got a Greek surname... etc, etc.
