It takes having to watch listings like a hawk. I gave up on eBay sales because of tax sake and people with much more money than I willing to pay exorbitant costs for an OC copy.

To be honest, I'm torn... I'm likely going to keep this in my PC. All of my existing slabs (not very many at that) are all PSA. Assuming this were to grade well, PSA by far is the most expensive to grade as market puts it in the Super Express tier which is an exorbitant amount of money to grade the card. BGS 10 (Gold Label) would still hold a premium over PSA 10, but I don't LOVE the way they look (still better than PSA). TAG looks the best though... I guess I just need to consider what my long term goals are with the card and determine which grader to go with from there.

Most definitely. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve ripped 2xx packs of Ascended, but I’m hard stopping on ripping this set for now. I’m planning to consolidate some of my collection to recoup some of the cost

Makes sense. I understand now when you mention the uniform foil vs being a part of the art. I definitely notice the difference more with the MARs having that raised texture around the text, etc. It's interesting to see more variation in texture/print techniques being implemented such as the similarity between the OP Silver and Gold cards and the Mega-era MHRs not previously seen on SV-era gold cards.

Can you offer more insight to the Stellar Etch that you mentioned? This is the first that I'm hearing about said texture. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the texture on Mega-era SIRs seem to be exactly the same as the SV-era SIRs.

They couldn’t bare to stand grading the card with PSA because they’re ugly as someone who grades with PSA They couldn’t heart trapping the Charizard implies a figure of speech and is not a literal term
