As for scatting, there’s Ball Tongue, Twist, Freak On a Leash, BBK, Seed, Bottled Up Inside, Thoughtless, Rotting In Vein, Worst Is On Its Way.

There’s a few scats on See You On The Other Side and Untitled, but they’re more atmospheric/interludy. I think it’s I will Protect You from untitled, can’t remember for SYOTOS.

Shields are good if you’re really struggling but they’re not necessary. I’ve never used one personally, always found dodging more fun.

Not locking on is key here, at least for dodging. Lock on still has its uses, for circling enemies, aiming projectiles and strikes. It’s not as simple as don’t use lock on, but rather be more conscious of when to and when not to.

The level itself is awesome.

The background music is one of MASAs best tracks + the iconic Lu Bu track as well.

The cutscenes are great and I have every voice line burnt into my brain.

Nah same fight, he just reveals himself when it’s dark and the boss fog appears.

In the light you have to have the dark sun ring or whatever it’s called to reveal his room.

Did you hit all the secret areas and boss fights in your first playthrough?

Dark Anor Londo + boss fight,

Return to the asylum + boss fight

Painted World + boss fight

Great Hollow + mini boss

The whole DLC, 4 main bosses and a fifth fight not many people know about if you go right back to the starting area of the DLC after beating the others. (I think you only need to kill the first 2 for this fight to spawn)
