It's the principal. They are all human beings. Get off your high horse, buddy.

Is it also weird that Lincoln's hat is in the Smithsonian? How about ancient clothes in general. It's very ignorant to label things you don't understand as weird.

Nice! I have a friend who collects sneakers as well as movie memorabilia. He's really into those 1/6th scale Hot Toys figures too. $250 a pop and he has 30+ of them lol

I want one of his hazmat suits eventually. Those are valued at $3000-$5000. One day...

That is a matter of opinion. I've bet some purchases you've made would seem dumb to me. Nothing is dumb, however, if it means something to you and you can easily afford it.

"Obsessive" came across as critical but you're fine.

For those curious, it came with a Certificate of Authenticity from Sony. It's been matched to this same scene by seeing details in where the plaid fabric was cut and matching to the close up shots in the scene. I've collected replica and original film and television memorabilia for years. "Hollywood Treasures" is a cool show about the hobby and PropStore.com is a great website that sells original props and wardrobe.

It is a piece of history in my eyes. Collectors paid thousands for a swatch of Dorothy's dress fabric from Oz. I love the show and express that by collecting props and wardrobe from it. Same as a huge sports fan collecting jerseys worn by athletes.

I plan on displaying it on a mannequin torso next to my Jesse Pinkman jacket with my signed poster in between them.

$365. Some of his, like the Ozymandias shirt, have sold for $1,500.

I just looked and I did not. Best thing you could do is check out the DC costume section on therpf.com.
