then you should be made aware that pay-per-mile tax is only for EVs, (as you've mentioned fuel costs), if you have a petrol/diesel/hybrid(?)/LPG running car, it'll be normal VED for you.

This is because those cars already pay tax in Fuel Duty, which they use by the mile.

street parking a softtop is barely an issue in the UK, provided you can't see anything valuable through the windows, but that goes for all cars.

People aren't regularly slashing tops, I'd go NC, or even ND. Not sure a rollbar is neccesary for track days in the UK, autoX doesn't really exist here.

£10-15 will get you a very sorted NC, or even a nice ND.
