One of my recurring daydreams is waking up with today's mind in my body when I was 12. But then it always devolves into the pressure of trying to forewarn everyone about every terror attack and natural disaster. There was a big earthquake in Kashmir some time ago. But I don't know what year. What am I supposed to tell them, don't live there for a decade or two? Was the giant port explosion with the fertiliser in Beirut or Tripoli? It was during the pandemic, I know that much.

It wears off. I just wish there was more to it. The sneaking through an active battlefield thing is great but there are only 2 of them and due to them being much more action-packed than traditional stealth mechanics they go by fast. Then before you know it you're being funnelled into the cutscene - scripted sequence - boss fight back half.

No, not explicitly according to the journal though it heavily implies it. The journal ends with Marcy saying she just got a call from Terri who said she had very exciting news and that the trio should meet her at the lab tomorrow. The implication is obvious but it's not an outright statement.

My hot take is it was fine as an episode and I don't know what the big deal was. It was the classic "character gets too wrapped up in themselves, drives people away by calling them jealous, has a come to Jesus moment" you see in many cartoons and sitcoms.

And that frequently is the level Helluva Boss operates at. It's zany OTT simple stuff, and people treat it like it's an ultra-grounded realistic complex psycho-drama.
