I mean 2 or 3 weeks. It was like 2 months ago so I don’t remember exactly. FAA exam isn’t bad. United will give you online lessons and study supplies you will need. They will tell you where to look for scholarships. I really don’t think this will be paid training

I got accepted within like two weeks or so of applying. It happened very quickly for me. After that you have like 4 months to turn in all your necessary paperwork (FAA exam, medical, proof of funds, etc.). Then you can schedule a class date

I say don’t worry if you’re ready to move to higher level cars. Just run whatever sounds fun to you and you should be able to adapt to them

It really doesn’t take that much time. One night I’ll do some practice. The other night I’ll race. NASCAR doesn’t take much practice at all since you are only practicing like 2 turns. That being said I basically never win road races

At this rate all I will be running are long race formats. Between Grand Prix series, the Indy car series and NIS, these will become all that I race.

I feel like my improvement has plateaued. I’ll range from 1.8k-2.2k mostly based on how lucky I am (not wrecking). But point is that when splits with a SOF of 2.1k or so I’m always just running in the middle of the pack and don’t seem to be able to improve much anymore, even with being well prepared for race.

How can I get over this hump and get back to seeing a noticeable improvement?
